    Abstract: An electrical protection system has connection terminals, separable electrical contacts, a switching mechanism and at least one power switch connected in series with the separable electrical contacts, the switching mechanism including a displaceable control member. The electrical protection system further includes an electronic control circuit coupled to the at least one power switch and a sensor coupled to the control member for measuring a position of the switching mechanism. The electronic control circuit is configured to switch the at least one power switch to a blocking state when the sensor detects that the switching mechanism reaches a position preceding a position in which the electrical contacts separate.

    Abstract: A protection system configured to protect plural DC voltage sources configured to be connected in parallel between first and second input terminals of a voltage inverter. The voltage inverter can convert a DC input voltage into an AC output voltage. Each DC voltage source is connected by a first electrical conductor to the first input terminal and by a second electrical conductor to the second input terminal. The protection system includes: for each DC voltage source, a first cut-off member and first detector of a defect of isolation of the first conductor with respect to an electrical ground, the first detector and associated first cut-off member connected in series between the corresponding DC voltage source and the first input terminal of the inverter; and a mechanism triggering, in event of detection of the isolation defect, the associated first cut-off member to open the electrical link corresponding to the first conductor.

    Abstract: An electrical circuit breaker with separable electrical contacts includes a fixed electrical contact, a mobile electrical contact, that can be displaced between open and closed positions and including several electrical contact fingers, arranged aligned along a row and that can be displaced relative to the mobile electrical contact, several bearing members, each associated with a contact finger to exert a force on this contact finger in order to displace it. The bearing members associated with the contact fingers situated in lateral end zones of the row exhibit a higher stiffness than the bearing members associated with the contact fingers situated in a central part of the row.

    Abstract: A switching device, a switching module and a control module configured to command the interruption of a current by way of the switching module in the event of a fault. The switching module includes a circuit carrying the current and including, in series, two back-to-back depletion-mode JFETs and a switching component that switches between two configurations. The switching component allows the current to flow in one configuration and prevents the current from flowing in the other configuration, which it is in by default. The control module generates a first signal for keeping the switching component in the first configuration, the control module being configured, in the event of a fault, to generate a second signal for commanding the interruption of the current by way of a transistor, and configured to interrupt the first signal in the event of a fault.
