摘要:
A cleaning system and method of cleaning filters that removes the ash in the plugged regions is disclosed. The filter is subjected to vibrations, which serve to loosen trapped and packed retentate from the filter. The loosened retentate is then captured by a collection bin. The cleaning system can be integral with the intended application, such as within an automobile. In another embodiment, the cleaning system is a separate cleaning station, where the filter is removing from its intended application, cleaned, and then reinstalled.

Embodiments provide an apparatus and method for a membrane bioreactor process including a media in the water circulation module. Along with air supplied from bottom of the module the media components are kept in dynamic condition between the gaps to scrub the membrane surface area to it clean in-situ. Continued cleaning of the membrane surface results in benefits of reduced/no physical and chemical cleaning requirement, high flux, low TMP, and reduced frequency of chemical cleaning. The use of highly porous polymeric media having large internal surface area provides the advantage of retention of microbiological culture for a longer time without any disturbance causing an upset condition while increasing the biological loading and treatment capacity of the reactor.

Continuous processes for depleting residuals in hollow fiber membranes comprising polysulfone or polyethersulfone and polyvinylpyrrolidone by rinsing the membranes while compressing them in a pinching device comprising grooved rollers.

A membrane filtration apparatus includes a frame, in which a plurality of membrane members, an aeration device, a cleaning device, and a jet device are provided. The cleaning device includes a rail mounted on the frame; an up frame engaging the rail to be moved in the rail, a plurality of cleaning wires respectively having an end connected to the up frame and respectively passing through a space between each two of the neighboring membrane members; and a low frame connected to opposite ends of the cleaning wires. A motor is provided to move the up frame so that the cleaning wires are reciprocating in the space to scratch the sludge off the membrane members.

An air filter module adapted to be used with a projection module and disposed to cover an air vent of the projection module. The air filter module includes a filter component and a cleaning unit. The cleaning unit is disposed to cover the air vent and configured to drive the filter component to have a movement so as to remove the dust on the filter component according to a cleaning-start signal. A projection device adopting the air filter module is also provided.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to a filtration module and/or a novel method of making a frameless filtration module for water or wastewater treatment that can produce filtrate that is free of particles, reduce precipitated hardness, colloids and organic compounds. The designed apparatus, which is either encapsulated or in cassette form, can be assembled and disbanded easily to suit diverse process requirements. The module configuration and assembly also helps in clean-in-place, repair or replacement activities to be performed in situ.

A cleaning system and method remove localized caked or dewatered solids from flat-plate membranes in a sewage treatment plant. The caked sludge on the membranes is removed by intense coherent water sprays directed into the spaces between cartridges of a cassette, without removing the cartridges from the cassette. The sprays can be delivered from the top and/or bottom of the cassette, or the side panels of a cassette can be removed for spraying from at least one side, preferably both sides, using a mechanical device with movable spray bars and motor-driven advancing of the spray bars. In one preferred form of the system the apparatus includes horizontal cutting jets followed by angled cutting jets that further break up and wash away the loosened sludge. Jet diameter, velocity and pressure are controlled so as not to damage the membranes or cartridges but to achieve efficient cleaning.

A filtration device having a plurality of membrane modules is provided. Each of the plurality of membrane modules has first and second permeable sheets that are separated by a spacer, a first ring disposed around a perimeter of a first hole in the first permeable sheet, and a second ring disposed around a perimeter of a second hole in the second permeable sheet, the second hole in alignment with the first hole. The first ring of each of the plurality of membrane modules is in abutment with the second ring of a preceding one of each of the plurality of membrane modules so that the plurality of membrane modules are interconnected for communication therebetween. Some embodiments further provide a third sheet that disposed between successively adjacent membrane modules.
