摘要: A magnetic separator has a funnel-shaped inlet opening that is adapted to admit and align any misaligned workpieces moving into the separator. A view port for enables viewing of the pole pieces from a location other than the inlet opening and the outlet opening. The view port is preferably formed in a lower guide plate. The separator has a jack screw adjustment mechanism for adjusting the vertical position of the upper guide plate relative to the lower guide plate. An adjustment mechanism for adjusting the vertical position of the upper pole piece relative to the upper guide plate includes an adjustment screw that is accessible fro the top of the separator The upper guide plate is easily removable from the separator by removing only one fastener per side.

摘要: A tailings recovery process comprises: feeding ore pulp into a concentration barrel of a concentrating machine; driving the concentration barrel to rotate around its own central axis while the ore pulp flows, so as to enable the ore pulp to be continuously stirred and turn over in inner cavity of the concentration barrel; applying a magnetic field to the ore pulp by means of a magnetic field generation device; accurately sorting the ore pulp by means of a classifier, so as to enable selected minerals in the ore pulp to be exposed under the action of the magnetic field in processes of rising and dropping, thus attaching to an inner wall of the concentration barrel and moving upwards until reaching a collecting area; by making the selected minerals fall into a material receiving trough of the concentrating machine in the collecting area, enabling other materials in the ore pulp except the selected minerals to enter into a tailings trough of the concentrating machine at the bottom of the inner cavity of the concentration barrel and then into a tailings conveying system.

A scrubber wastewater treatment device, according to one possible embodiment, includes a magnetic powder adding device controllable to add a magnetic powder to be added to scrubber wastewater having been generated by treating combustion exhaust gas in a scrubber, and a controller configured to control an amount of the magnetic powder added by the magnetic powder adding device in accordance with a measurement value obtained by a sensor.

摘要: An apparatus for separating hot particles including a plurality of materials having different magnetic properties includes a plurality of permanent magnets arranged in a magnet assembly and configured to create a magnetic flux capable of providing a coercive force on at least a portion of the particles, the magnet assembly being mounted on a stationary shaft, a moving surface proximate the magnet assembly for carrying the particles in a downward path through the magnetic flux while the coercive force attracts the portion of the hot particles toward the moving surface, the moving surface being mounted on a drive shaft supported by a bearing, and an inert gas supply system which supplies inert gas into a gap between the stationary shaft and the drive shaft for cooling the drive shaft and the bearings, and into the magnet assembly for purging the magnet assembly of oxygen.

摘要: A material removal system for removing oversized materials from a material stream. This material removal system comprises a first transfer system that is used to transport a material stream, a pulley separator, and a gap that is at least as small as the length of the oversized materials that are to be removed from the material stream. Moreover, the pulley separator comprises a rotatable outer shell that has a tubular width and circular cross-section. The pulley separator is located at a discharge end of the first transfer system to create a gap that is at least as small as the length of the oversized materials to be removed.

摘要: A cell separation device includes a channel or chamber in which a sample flows or moves, the sample including target cells marked with magnetic particles, and non-target cells, and a magnet which generates a magnetic first force in a first direction with respect to the sample within the channel or chamber. The channel or chamber of the cell separation device is applied with a second force in a second direction opposite to the first direction of the magnetic force. According to the cell separation device and a method of separating cells, the target cells move in the first direction by the magnetic force, and the non-target cells move in the second direction by the second force, by simultaneously applying the magnetic force and the second force in opposing directions, thereby separating the target cells from the non-target cells.
