摘要： A film forming apparatus, a substrate processing apparatus, and a device manufacturing method are provided, which improve the film thickness uniformity of a thin film that is formed on a substrate by spraying a thin film material. The film forming apparatus which forms a thin film on a substrate is provided with a nozzle that sprays a thin film material and an exhaust unit that discharges a gas. An exhaust port of the exhaust unit is arranged on a side that is opposite to the direction in which the gravity acts with respect to the substrate. The substrate processing apparatus performs a predetermined process on the substrate using the film forming apparatus. The device manufacturing method manufactures a device using the film forming apparatus.

摘要： In the case of an apparatus for the contact-free application of a liquid strip, more particularly a strip of glue, on a moving web of material, comprising at least one application head, which is provided with at least one nozzle arranged at a distance from the web of material and a valve adapted to put the nozzle into and out of operation and adapted to be operated in accordance with the desired pattern of application, the aim of the invention is to provide such an improvement using simple and low-price means that despite the contact-free application of liquid high accuracy becomes possible. This accomplished by a modification such that the timing of the valve is modified to depart from the basic values, which are dependent on the application pattern, in accordance with a correction value which is a function of the speed of the web of material and at least the distance of the web from the nozzle.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for continuously manufacturing moisture films are revealed. At least one loading surface formed by a belt conveyor is used to support and move a lower fabric layer synchronously. During the movement, a top surface of the lower fabric layer is coated with a first fixing solution layer, a gel layer and a second fixing solution layer so as to form a film gradually. Moreover, an upper fabric layer is provided to be attached over the gel layer correspondingly. Then the second fixing solution layer is coated over the upper fabric layer. Thereby a continuous manufacturing of moisture films with or without carriers is completed.

摘要： A method for atomizing a liquid including providing an atomizer having a liquid supply conduit having an outlet at one end, a gas supply conduit opening into a port in the liquid supply conduit upstream of the outlet, and a means for imparting vibrational energy to the atomizer. In an embodiment, the liquid supply conduit and gas supply conduit are coaxially displaced relative to one another. The method further includes flowing liquid through the liquid supply conduit to the outlet while simultaneously flowing gas through the gas supply conduit, and imparting vibrational energy to the atomizer to atomize the liquid exiting from the outlet. The introduction of gas at the port results in a spray of droplets with improved dimensional properties.

摘要： An apparatus and method for processing elongated sheet material through a plurality of processing stations including a cooling station for lowering the temperature of the sheet material. The cooling station includes a plurality of individually controllable cooling zones each for controlling a portion of the transverse width of the sheet material during passage through the cooling zone. The cooling zones each include a plurality of cooling fluid directing spray nozzles and a sensor for sensing the temperature of the portion of the sheet material onto which cooling fluid has been directed by the respective cooling zone. A controller responsive to the temperature sensed at each cooling zone is operable for independently controlling the flow of cooling fluid to the fluid spray nozzles of each cooling zone based upon a preset temperature setting of the controller.

摘要： An applicator for the deposition of size and other coating compositions onto the surfaces of reinforcing fibers, such as glass. The device may be used to apply aqueous or non-aqueous size to continuously formed fiber materials in a high speed forming process. The applicator may include an atomizing spray pre-applicator in combination with a slide-die applicator. The atomizing spray pre-applicator can be connected to a vacuum source, which increases contact of the spray with the fibers, and thereby improves coating coverage. The slide-die applicator may include a slide-die configuration that reduces leakage of the liquid coating. The process of using the invention can provide a more uniform thin film coating, higher coating efficiency, and better coating coverage than size applicators otherwise known in the art.

摘要： A method and apparatus for manufacturing an edible film are disclosed. The method includes a plurality of applying operations of applying solution for forming the edible film onto lower wrapping paper in a thin film shape. The solution-applying operations include a first solution-applying and a second solution-applying operation. Therefore, in the case of an edible medicine film product, particularly, when a tiny dosage of medicine must be loaded onto an edible medicine film, a loss of medicine can be reduced as much as possible. A variety of kinds of films can be manufactured through a multi-solution-applying operation, when different kinds of medicines, for example, those which are respectively absorbed in the mouth mucous membrane, the stomach and the intestine, are required.

The apparatus includes a sliding member having a pair of sliders selectively reciprocating oppositely by a driving unit; a frame installed above the sliders and having an elongated guide hole corresponding to a reciprocating range of the sliders; and a pair of crosslink members installed to an upper surface of the frame to couple with the sliders through the hole and whose upper end supports a flat table. The crosslink members include a pair of unit links hinged at their substantial center, whose lower ends are respectively coupled to the slider and hinged to the frame, and upper ends are respectively hinged to the flat table and supports the flat table rotatably, whereby the flat table is lifted by reciprocation of the sliders.
