    摘要: Systems, devices and methods for receiving an item in a receptacle are disclosed. Features are disclosed for receiving and guiding an item in a receiving space of a receptacle so as to attenuate or remove the impact force of the item on the receptacle. Some embodiments of the disclosure include a bumper having an impact surface which absorbs most or all of the impact force of the item and thereby mitigates or removes the imposition of cyclic impact loads on the receptacle from repeated receipt of items. The bumper may be structurally and/or functionally de-coupled or otherwise physically separated from the receptacle such that an advantageous division of labor is created between absorbing the impact and receiving the item. This disclosure may be useful, for example, in modern industrial operations where a high volume of items are received daily, such as in mail sorting and handling operations.

    摘要: A storage module for flat postal items includes a storage area, an infeed function to transfer postal items from a stream of postal items into the storage area, and an extraction function to extract postal items from the storage area. The infeed and extraction function have a common roller conveyor unit and a feed stop. The infeed function guides the postal items in a direction of travel of the roller conveyor unit from the roller conveyor against the feed stop for a transfer into the storage area. The extraction function extracts the last stacked postal item from the storage area in the direction of travel of the roller conveyor unit through an extraction opening. The storage area includes a separating knife to exert a first pressure and a second pressure.

    摘要: A device for discharging a stack of flat objects standing on their narrow faces, in particular a stack of mail items, includes a stack holder with a base for holding the objects and a supporting element supporting the stack. The supporting element is a platform-type wall, preferably with recesses, into which a further supporting element with inverted recesses can pass. The stack holder can be pivoted about an axis of rotation and its base has a conveyor. This ensures that stack quality is preserved during the complete discharging process. The ergonomics of the device are also improved for its operator.

    摘要: A device for aligning flat objects includes a supporting device, two boundary elements, a drive for the backwards and forwards movement of the boundary elements and a motor. The supporting device has two flat aligning surfaces for aligning the objects, wherein the aligning surfaces lie in two planes that abut each other at a straight edge. Both aligning surfaces slope steeply towards the edge. The motor sets both aligning surfaces in vibration. Both boundary elements can be swiveled into an engaging position. In this engaging position, the at least two boundary elements hold the stack of the objects when the stack is located on the supporting surfaces and between the boundary elements. The drive is connected to the boundary elements in such a way that it moves the boundary elements backwards and forwards parallel to the edge when the boundary elements are in the engaging position.
