Abstract:
A sanitizing machine comprising a supporting structure which includes two compartments or chambers (A, B), wherein, when the machine is in stand-by, a first compartment (A) is open and is able to house at least one container or object (V) to sanitize, while a second compartment (B) of the machine houses a sliding door (SP), which hermetically and automatically closes (D3) the first compartment (A) when the machine is on. The method thereof provides for at least one type of sanitizing cycle, such as a ozone cycle, a sanitizing liquid cycle and a combined cycle.
Abstract:
Movement from a carrying table to a support table can be prevented from becoming complicated and made simpler and positioning on the support table can be easily performed. Provision is made of cleaning tanks 40, 50 which hold and clean parts of a substrate case C inside a booth 10 in a separated stats, provision is made of a support table 20 which supports the substrate case C in the booth 10, provision is made of a conveyance mechanism which conveys the parts of the substrate case C between the support table 20 and the cleaning tanks 40, 50, provision is made of a carrying table 13 on which the substrate case C is carried at the outside of an opening 11 of the booth 10, provision is made of a movement mechanism 30 which moves the substrate case C between the carrying table 13 and the support table 20, and the movement mechanism 30 carries the support table 20 and can be moved to the two positions of an advance position R1 where it advances to the carrying table 13 side and receives and delivers a substrate case C with the carrying table 13 and a retraction position R2 where it retracts inside the booth 10 and delivers and receives a substrate case C with the conveyance mechanism.
Abstract:
A machine and method are provided for washing a tote or other container having a bottom wall, and first and second opposed side walls that are connected by first and second opposed end walls to define an access opening. The machine and method involve utilizing an automated washing machine having a housing that includes a wash zone for spraying wash liquid onto the container, a downstream rinse zone for spraying rinsing liquid onto the tote and a downstream drying zone for directing air flow onto the container to promote drying of the container and a conveyor mechanism for moving the container through the housing. The container is placed in an inverted position on the conveyor mechanism with the bottom wall facing upward and the access opening facing downward, and the conveyor mechanism moves the container through the zones for cleaning.
Abstract:
A tunnel washer that includes fluid exhaust paths that are optimized to minimize fluid transfer between chambers of the washer and minimize heat loss from each chamber of the washer. The fluid exhaust paths also facilitate uniform vapor evacuation from each chamber of the washer. The tunnel washer also includes spaced-apart double wall curtains for isolating chambers of the tunnel washer to prevent fluid and heat transfer therebetween, and to the exterior of the tunnel washer. The double wall curtains include surfaces that inhibit the curtains from sticking together during operation of the tunnel washer. The tunnel washer also includes an air manifold that provides uniform drying efficiency for articles of varying dimensions.
Abstract:
An automatic pallet cleaning apparatus for cleaning a pallet which has an object to be cleaned by removing dust deposited thereon. The apparatus includes a conveyance mechanism, an air jet unit and a suction unit. The conveyance mechanism conveys the pallet into a body of the automatic pallet cleaning apparatus. The air jet unit jets air against the pallet conveyed by the conveyance mechanism. The suction unit sucks dust removed from the pallet by the air jet unit.
Abstract:
A shopping basket washer and sanitizer includes an enclosure fitted with components that facilitate the entry and exit of shopping baskets and related or similar items for the purpose of washing, rinsing, disinfecting and/or drying. Within the apparatus, the baskets are washed, rinsed, disinfected and dried. The apparatus is intended primarily for use inside retail establishments so as to provide a continuous supply of clean and sanitary shopping baskets to customers.
Abstract:
A system and method for cleaning carriers used for handling semiconductor wafers including a box cleaner having a rotor within an enclosure. Box holder assemblies on the rotor include upper and lower hooks for securing boxes to the rotor. A box door holder assembly is also provided on the rotor. The box door holder assembly preferably has a plurality of box door holding positions. Each box door holding position advantageously has a door guide and door hooks for holding a door. The box door holder assembly allows both the boxes and their doors to be cleaned with the centrifugal cleaner, avoiding the need for separate cleaning of the doors. In one configuration, the rotor is provided with an even number of box holder assemblies symmetrically spaced about the rotor and an even number of door holder assemblies symmetrically spaced about the rotor.
Abstract:
A washer (10) having prewashing, washing, rinsing, and drying stations (12-18) and a first conveyor (20) which transports animal cages (26) through the washer in an open side down orientation. A bedding dispenser (30) has a bedding dispensing station (32) and a second conveyor (40, 48) for transporting the animal cage (26) through the bedding dispensing station (32) in an open side up orientation. A righting device (60, 90, 100) is interposed between the first conveyor (20) and the second conveyor (40, 48). The righting device includes a counter-rotating flip wheel (64, 80, 106) which receives the animal cages from the first conveyor (20), engages a peripheral flange (28) of the cage with a rung (74, 84, 112) of the flip wheel, and pivots the animal cages from the open side down orientation to the open side up orientation on the second conveyor (40, 48).
Abstract:
A pallet cleaner especially suitable for use in cleaning plastic pallets. The cleaner includes a vertically oriented horizontally extending chamber having a vertically oriented entry opening at one end of the chamber and a vertically oriented exit opening at the other end of the chamber. The pallets are loaded on edge into the chamber through the vertically oriented entry opening, moved through the chamber on edge while a heated pressurized fluid is directed against the upper and lower sides of the pallet, and thereafter are moved on edge out of the chamber through the exit opening. The cleaner further includes wheels so that the cleaner is portable and may be rolled to the site of pallets to be cleaned rather than requiring the pallets to be cleaned to be brought to the site of the cleaner.
Abstract:
An apparatus for cleaning a tote box (14) and the contents thereof is disclosed. A tote box support (16) is secured to conveyor chain (20) which are mounted on pulleys (32). Pneumatic motor (36) drives rotatable shafts (34) which are secured to the pulleys (32). This provides a means for supporting the tote box (14) in a load position and an unload position, and also a means for transferring the tote box (14) between the load and unload positions. A contents washing container (40) is disposed in fixed relationship with respect to the supporting and transferring means and is pivotally mounted for movement between first and second positions. In the first position, the container (40) is in a position to receive the contents from the tote box (14), when in the unload position. The container (40) in the second position, is in a position to empty the contents into the tote box (14), when in the load position. The container (40) is pivotally mounted on a shaft (66 ) and is rotated about the shaft (66) by a pneumatic tilt cylinder (68).
