    摘要: A high efficiency stripper nozzle, with a through hole configured to be connected to the through hole of another nozzle, guide, or nozzle, which comprises several radial channels that pass through the nozzle from the perimeter zone to the hole at its entrance zone. The nozzle may be divided into several pieces which can be connected together in a removable way and replaceable, which may form the radial channels between them with different sections and angles with respect to the axis of the hole. The radial channels may contact externally with an opening located on one of the surfaces of the nozzle or on one of the surfaces of the nozzle to which the nozzle is connected.

    摘要: Rolling mill split box guide nozzle and equalization trough assemblies are retained by a remote actuated clamping mechanism that includes a central pivoting elongated clamp member having an engagement surface proximal one end that engages the clamped object, and a link pivot proximal the other end. A pivoting link has a first end pivotally coupled to the clamp member link pivot and a second end that is pivotally coupled to an actuator shaft. The actuator shaft is capable of translation to a locked position that maintains engagement between the clamp member and the clamped split box nozzle assembly or equalization trough object, wherein the link blocks clamp member motion. The actuator shaft is also capable of translation to an unlocked position that enables clamp member pivoting motion out of engagement with the clamped object. The actuator shaft may be translated by an actuator controlled by a factory automation system.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for shaping wire-shaped and rod-shaped starting materials by rolling, especially for rolling flat profiled elements consisting of a wire rod. The starting material is heated in a heating station at a desired temperature, shaped during at least one rolling process, and then cooled. According to the invention, once the starting material has been heated in the heating station, it is cooled in a cooling station to a pre-determinable rolling temperature; it is then shaped into a flat profiled element by rolling close to the gauge block, and then cooled and/or subjected to a subsequent treatment according to joining properties to be correspondingly adjusted. In this way, a series of different methods can be carried out by means of an installation for rolling starting materials with a patented structure, an austenite structure, a bainite structure or an undercooled austenite structure.

The cooling water pipes are arranged in the water boxes. Each cooling water pipeline has guide grooves positioned between the water boxes for connecting the cooling water pipes of each cooling water pipeline with one another. The cooling water pipelines are configured such that, by parallel-sliding or rotation of the support frame in a direction perpendicular to the wire rod guiding line, each cooling water pipeline is positionable in the wire rod guiding line so that the wire rod is guidable in all of the cooling wire pipes.

    摘要: Apparatus for use in cooling and/or drying or cleaning elongate material, such as drawn wire, tube or strip material, the apparatus comprising a chamber, which may be formed at least in part by a flexible tube, having an inlet and an outlet through which the material enters and leaves the chamber, and the chamber is connected via an outlet passage to a device which creates a sub-atmospheric pressure within the chamber. The sub-atmospheric pressure lowers the evaporation temperature of the cooling liquid which is on the surface of the material which evaporates and cools the material and the sub-atmospheric pressure causes air to flow into the chamber around the material in the region of the outlet and this airflow is at high velocity and wipes the material. The apparatus is preferably located on the end of a structure in which a drawing die is housed.
