摘要: Provided is a rubber composition that can achieve excellent on-ice performance and steering stability when used in tires. A rubber composition comprises: a rubber component containing an isoprene-based rubber, and a modified conjugated diene-based polymer that is a reaction product of a conjugated diene-based polymer having an active terminal and a compound [M] containing a total of two or more of at least one selected from a group “—CR1═N-A1” and a group “—N═CR1-A1”, where R1 is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl group and A1 is a monovalent group having an alkoxysilyl group; a filler containing at least silica; and 5 parts by mass or more of a thermoplastic resin with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.

摘要: A polymeric substrate is disclosed. The polymeric substrate comprises a barrier layer including a polymeric material comprising about 50 wt. % or more of at least one polyolefin polymer and 50 wt. % or less of a hydrocarbon resin. The polymeric material exhibits a DTUL of 30° C. or more and a tensile modulus of 500 MPa or more and/or a flexural secant modulus of 500 MPa or more. The barrier layer has a thickness of greater than 200 μm to 6,500 μm. A shaped polymeric article comprising the polymeric substrate is also disclosed.

摘要: The use of a low molecular weight farnesene, poly(farnesene), and farnesene copolymer in a golf ball is disclosed herein. In a core, low molecular weight farnesene, poly(farnesene) or farnesene copolymer is blended with 1,4 polybutadiene or a polyalkenamer. In a mantle layer, low molecular weight farnesene, poly(farnesene), and/or farnesene copolymer can be blended with non- or partially neutralized copolymeric or terpolymeric ionomer(s). In a cover, low molecular weight farnesene, poly(farnesene), and farnesene copolymer can be blended with highly neutralized ionomer.

摘要: The present invention refers to a polymer composite that comprises sand preferably medium, at least a load, at least a resin selected from among dicyclopentadiene polyester resin (DCPD) and resin PET and at least a phase-compatibilizing additive and/or flexibilizing agent of the polymer structure. Further, the present invention refers to process of preparing said composite besides the use of said composite for preparing some articles including sleepers. This composite presents several advantages when compared to the materials used today for preparing sleepers as it is more versatile than steel, more available and as effective as wood, more durable than the concrete as it comprises an optimized composition that combines ideal physical-chemical properties to exercise the function for which it was intended.

The first polymer may be polylactic acid, starch, polybutylene succinate, poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate), or a mixture thereof. The second polymer may be polybutadiene, high impact polystyrene, or a mixture thereof. The block copolymer may be a block copolymer of polylactic acid and polybutadiene. The composition may be prepared by a process that includes contacting the first polymer with the second polymer and the block copolymer. Articles may be prepared from the composition.

摘要: A thermoplastic vulcanizate composition, a method for forming a thermoplastic vulcanizate with the composition and a product thereof are disclosed. The thermoplastic vulcanizate composition includes a thermoplastic polyurethane, a rubber, a vulcanizing agent for crosslinking the rubber, and an additive. Wherein, a hardness of the thermoplastic polyurethane is at least 19A greater than a hardness of the rubber, and the hardness of the thermoplastic polyurethane is equal to or greater than 70A. A weight ratio of the thermoplastic polyurethane to the rubber is from 30:70 to 70:30. The crosslinked rubber is dispersed in a continuous phase constituted by the thermoplastic polyurethane.
