    摘要： A container having a window for viewing the product contained therein and an associated method of manufacture is provided. The container is constructed of at least one body ply and a liner ply. The body ply defines at least one aperture therethrough such that when the body ply is wrapped into a tubular shape the aperture forms a window through the body ply into the container. The liner ply extends across the aperture in the body ply and has a sufficiently low opacity that allows the product in the container to be viewed through the window. The liner ply provides a moisture and gas barrier inside the container around the product. The container may include a label ply. The label ply defines at least one aperture therethrough. The cutting of the at least one aperture in the label ply is registered. The body ply defines at least one aperture therethrough corresponding to the at least one aperture in the label ply. The body ply is wrapped around the previously wrapped liner ply on the mandrel and then the label ply is wrapped around the previously wrapped body ply and liner ply so that the apertures in the label ply are aligned with apertures in the body ply to create a tubular shape having a viewing window through both body plies.

    摘要： A machine for punching blanks (10) of corrugated cardboard out of a web or plates of corrugated cardboard and for forming folding lines (5) in said blanks. The machine has two cylinders (2, 3) rotating towards each other and of which at least one cylinder is provided on the outer surface with a curved wooden plate (6). The punching tools and the folding line tools (8, 9) are mounted on said wooden plate by being pressed into slits in said wooden plate (6). The cylinders (2, 3) are made of metal, preferably steel. The wooden plate (6) is secured to the cylinder (2, 3) by being screwed (15) thereon. The wooden plate is centered on the cylinder by means of two adjustable rings (4) on the cylinder. Each ring (4) is provided with an axially directed guide projection (4a, 4b) adapted to interact with an end notch (6a, 6b) in the wooden plate. In this way, it is rendered possible in a very simple way to centre the wooden plate and consequently the punching tool in relation to the vertical centre plane of the cylinder.

The window opening in an envelope blank is formed by using a sheet of material having a top surface and an outer periphery. A raised portion extends from the top surface of the sheet and includes a cutting edge adapted to cut the envelope blank to form the opening. A coupling means are included to selectively couple the die with the die holder in at least two orientations so that the position of said sheet may be changed relative to the die holder to alter the location in which said cutting portion forms the opening in the envelope blank.
