摘要: A method of manufacturing a decorative ribbon, including the steps of gathering an elongate ribbon, stitching the ribbon along the length thereof while gathered with wire thread to hold the ribbon in the gathered condition. The ribbon may also be heat set while held in the gathered condition by the wire stitches. A ribbon according to the method is also disclosed.

摘要: A decorative textile element consisting of an assembly of parallel textile yarns arranged in bundles and held together at both ends of the bundle. This may be made by assembling at least filiform textile structures in parallel, surrounding the assembly with an envelope, and cutting the resulting product into elements, e.g. using a heated knife. The elements may be made up into decorative textile articles by threading at least one of the above elements onto a yarn.

摘要: A mobile geometrical form having two helical sections interdigitally wound into each other about a common axis. The helical sections are of substantially the same radius and are out of phase with respect to each other. Each end of one helical section continues into a twisted loop, which in turn continues into the adjacent end of the other helical section to thereby form a unitary structure. The geometrical form is comprised of a double sided continuous strip of material. Optionally, a tube axially extends through the helical sections and serves to anchor the loops at either end in spaced apart relationship, while permitting translatory motion of the unitary structure therethrough.

摘要: A design tape provided with one or more round bar-like protrusions each having a circular cross-section and extending parallel with each other along a central line of a surface of plain weave cloth, each of the round bar-like protrusions being constructed by making use of hollow weave fabric and having a substantially circular cross-section. This design tape is characterized in that it is constituted by a couple of tape components arrayed side by side, that at least one of the tape components is provided at an edge portion of one of the selvages thereof with a round bar-like protrusion which is constructed by making use of hollow weave fabric, that the selvages of the couple of tape components are juxtaposed and connected with each other by making use of stitching thread which is applied to a boundary line between the protrusions and the selvages of tape components, and that the connected portion of the couple of tape components is unfolded back to a flattened state of the design tape where surfaces of the couple of tape components are made flush with each other.

摘要: A loop formed of a core in the form of one or a plurality of yarn skeins and a seamlessly woven protective sheath which encloses the entire core with considerable play is provided with one or two diagonally oppositely disposed woven flat ribs so as to cause the protective sheath to take on a flat oval cross-sectional configuration even before a load is attached and/or to serve as the support for a connecting seam for two juxtaposed loop strands. The seams may also be used to fasten an abrasion protection cover. The seams may likewise be used to connect a plurality of loops or slings to form a loop mat.

摘要: The present invention relates to a ribbon type fabric produced through simple processes wherein a reinforcing fabric to which an adhesive means has previously been applied or overlapped with is layered on the surface of a narrow fabric cutout area of a ribbon type fabric created on a wide fabric, and the reinforcing fabric layered on the narrow fabric cutout area is simultaneously heated, pressed and cut or is heated, pressed and then cut according to fabric characteristics, and thus can maintain the tension of the ribbon type fabric by the reinforcing fabric while preventing selvage yarns on both edges of the cut ribbon type fabric from becoming loose, can be easily mass-produced while readily producing a ribbon type fabric from a wide fabric formed from a net fabric, a synthetic fiber fabric, a cotton fabric, a hemp fabric, or the like, and can enable further improvement in the adhesive force of the reinforcing fabric while obtaining decorative beauty by forming a character or a pattern on the surface of the reinforcing fabric adhesively layered on the ribbon type fabric.
