摘要： The invention comprises an ovenable packaging structure having an integral one-way valve. The laminate structure comprises an outer layer having a cut line which defines a flap that is separable from the outer layer, wherein the outer layer is adhered to an inner layer having a cut line which is offset from the outer cut line and defines a portion that is separable from the inner layer along the inner cut line and defines an opening into the packaging structure. The adhesive between the layers comprises, in an embodiment, a channel of pressure sensitive adhesive which surrounds both the outer cut line and the inner cut line, wherein the channel of pressure sensitive adhesive defines the perimeter of at least one adhesive-free valve chamber within said channel. The valve chamber comprises at least a portion of the outer cut line and the inner cut line.

摘要： Improved packages and methods for constructing packages are provided that are designed such that the user can peel back a lidding member of the package to reveal an independently peelable portion covering one of the compartments. The independently peelable portion is a layer of the lidding member that maintains the respective compartment in an unopened (sealed) condition until the user independently peels that layer off to access the items in that compartment. The lidding member can be used to re-seal all of the compartments before and/or after the independently peelable portion is removed. The independently peelable portion may include a visual indication of a sealed condition of the compartment that serves as a tamper evidence feature. In multiple-compartment packages, peeling back the lidding member allows the user to access some of the compartments of the package, while at least one of the compartments remains sealed via the independently peelable portion.

The incision is made to allow the detachment of the opening portion from the welding portion while the closing element is opened.

The covering foil is resealably attached to the casing by a first adhesive force in a first area outside the flap and is substantially permanently attached to the casing by a second adhesive force greater than the first adhesive force, on the one hand in a basic area of the flap and, on the other hand, in a second area positioned outside the first area. According to the invention, the covering foil has only one perforated line between the first and second areas and is not attached to the casing in a third area within which the entire perforated line is extended.

The wrapper is formed from a substantially rectangular blank of paperboard which is cut and scored to provide a top panel which is adhered to the tray flange, at least one side wall foldably attached to the top panel which lies adjacent to a tray side wall and a bottom flap foldably attached to the side wall which is adhered to the bottom of the tray. The easy opening feature includes a tab element formed from a part of the side panel which is connected to a removable lid portion of the top panel. The tab element and removable lid portion are formed by spaced apart, partial depth cut lines located on the inner and outer surfaces of the top panel and the side panel.
