摘要： An apparatus and method for discharging liquids such as vapocoolants in stream or mist form includes the use of a filter to remove contaminants from the liquid prior to dispensing through the nozzle opening. A streamlined flow of liquid is delivered to the nozzle to prevent after spray and the filter spaced from the nozzle to inhibit pulsation of the dispensed liquid stream. The filter and nozzle are provided as an assembly mounted in a passageway in the container actuator.

摘要： An apparatus and method for discharging vapocoolants in stream or mist form includes the use of selected fluoroelastomers for valve parts to regulate discharge. The fluoroelastomers provide long-term stability to the vapocoolants to enable superior shelf life without minimal loss or contamination of the vapocoolant. In addition, a filter is provided to remove contaminants from vapocoolant prior to passage through the nozzle opening.

摘要： An aerosol dispenser having a transparent container for storing a propellant and a first compound under pressure. An actuator button normally closes a valve mounted on top of the container to control the dispensing of the materials from the container. An ampule containing a second material separate from the first material until the ampule is broken is positioned generally along the bottom of the container with a saddle shaped foot. A push rod extends from the valve and holds the foot in engagement with the ampule and breaks the ampule when the valve is first moved to its open position. The materials are mixed within the container and are dispensed through a filter mounted on a dip tube leading to the valve.

摘要： A retaining ring assembly. A retaining ring which is adapted to be positioned between a propellant cartridge of an aerosol dispenser, which cartridge has particles of propellant-adsorbent material therein, and a stem-obturating gasket of the dispenser has an annular cutting edge on the bottom thereof. The retaining ring is dipped in adhesive and pressed against a sheet of filter material so that the disc-shaped filter element thus cut out of the sheet is secured in the retaining ring. The retaining ring assembly is then assembled with the remainder of the dispenser.

摘要： Fitted into the neck (14) of a container (16) is a securing part (12), in the central opening (20) of which there is located the mixer part (26) with mixing chambers (38, 40), covered over by a screen-like refining element (48). On the way to the outlet (92), the defined passage (74), the fins (68, 102), the ribs (72'), the screen (86) as well as chicanes in the annular channel (96) ensure optimum foam formation and retarding of the foam, so that the positive pressure in the container (16) does not drop abruptly when the valve arrangement is opened.
