    摘要: A method for manufacturing concrete parts has the steps of: providing a hydraulic cement and aggregate; mixing the cement and aggregate with water to provide a fresh concrete; introducing CO2 into the fresh concrete in an amount resulting in a carbonation degree of more than 0.5 wt.-% and less than 5 wt.-% of the total carbonatable Ca and Mg phases for a first carbonation step; curing the fresh concrete until at least 15 wt.-% of the calcium aluminates are hydrated to provide a green concrete part; subjecting the green concrete part to CO2 in an amount resulting in a carbonation degree of more than 10 wt.-% of the total carbonatable Ca and Mg phases for a final carbonation step; and storing the part for 0.5 hours to 28 days for further hydration of not-yet carbonated, not-yet hydrated cement to provide the concrete part. and concrete parts obtainable with the method.

    摘要: A method for producing ultra-lightweight concrete (ULWC), includes: generating CO2 foam including nanobubbles; forming a brine paste including nanocrystals and nanopores by mixing the nanobubbles with a brine solution; generating the CO2 foam including microbubbles, where pore sizes of the microbubbles are larger than pore sizes of the nanobubbles; mixing the microbubbles into the brine paste, where the nanocrystals comprised in the brine paste distributes along a surface of each microbubble; and mixing fiber hairs into the brine paste and the microbubbles. Ultra-lightweight aggregate (ULWA) may be formed using the ULWC. A method for producing ULWC panels, includes: printing creases on alkali-resistant fiber paper sheets; folding the fiber paper sheets along the creases; affixing the folded fiber paper sheets into a 3D structure with open channels; injecting atomized brine water into surfaces of the open channels; and injecting CO2 gas into the open channels until filled with carbonate crystals.

    摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for controlling carbonation synthesis of silicon and/or aluminium carbonate minerals, wherein the concentration of dissolved silicon and/or aluminium in a mix to be cured is adjusted to at least 1 mmol/1 before curing he mix with gas comprising carbon dioxide (CO2) having a partial pressure of CO2 of at least 0.15 bar. In some embodiments of the isclosure an alkaline substance is added to the raw material to provide the mix where the total concentration of dissolved silicon and/or aluminium of at least 1 mmol/l. The disclosure also relates to a product obtainable by the methods of the disclosure as well as to the use of the product as building material, preferably for producing concrete-like products, more preferably for elements, most preferably for pre-casted elements and to the use of the method in construction industry or for production of elements and/or pre-casted elements.
