摘要: The invention concerns a process for oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane. In the process an ethane comprising stream is fed to a distillation column to remove propane. The purified ethane stream is subjected to oxidative dehydrogenation using a catalyst comprising Mo/V/Sb, or Mo/V/Nb and Te or Sb in the orthorhombic M1 crystalline phase. The reactor effluent comprises ethylene. The effluent is washed with water to remove acetic acid. The acetic acid is recovered from the aqueous stream by means of solvent extraction.

THE IMPROVED CATALYST ALLOW CONTROL OF THE TRANS-CIS RATIO OF THE 1,4-DIENE FORMED AND ARE OPERBLE AT USEFUL RATES IN A WIDE RANGE OF SOLVET SYSTEMS, BOTH PROTONIC AND APROTIC.

摘要: There is provided a catalytic oligomerization process. The process involves the use of a catalyst comprising an acidic solid. The acidic solid may comprise a Group IVB metal oxide, such as zirconia, modified with an oxyanion of a Group VIB metal, such as tungsten. The oligomers produced by this process may be hydrogenated to produce thermally stable lubricants and lubricant additives, gasoline and diesel.

摘要: Improved catalysts are provided for the synthesis of 1,4-dienes from Alpha -monoolefins and conjugated dienes. The catalysts are rhodium (III) salts in combination with amides, phosphoramides, phosphine oxides, or water. The improved catalysts allow control of the trans-cis ratio of the 1,4-diene formed and are operable at useful rates in a wide range of solvent systems, both protonic and aprotic.
