    摘要: Apparatus for forming a fibre mat, in particular a non-woven mat, comprising a fibre web-forming device, for example a card, a cross-tapper and a device for drafting the fibre web(s) disposed between the web forming device and the cross-lapper in order to draft the fibre web(s), in particular in a time-varying, specifically periodic manner, to thereby adjust a predetermined desired profile of the fibre mat leaving the cross-lapper, the web-forming device comprising at least one output belt (1, 2) for at least one web (5, 6), and preferably two output belts (1, 2) for two webs (5, 6), an upper and lower web respectively; wherein the cross-hipper has an input belt (7) for receiving the web(s) from the output belt(s) of the web forming device, characterised in that the arrangement is such that the path of the web, or of the at least one web, and preferably of the two, upper and lower, webs, between the output belt(s) of the web-forming device, in particular the card, and the input belt of the cross-lapper includes at least one inflection point (11, 12).

    摘要: Automatic modification of volumetric air flow in an apparatus for pneumatically feeding a spinning preparation machine, by means of fibre-flock charging shafts, located upstream of individual spinning preparation machines and connected to a pneumatic fibre-transporting line, the transporting line connected by way of a fibre material feed fan to the fibre-processing machine upstream. A set of characteristic curves describing air flow is stored in a characteristic curve set element; a measurement signal for the pressure difference at the fan and values relating to rotation of the fan are ascertained in a computer unit. The computer unit determines value of the volumetric air flow from the characteristic curves. In the event of departure from a desired value for the volumetric air flow, the operating point for the speed of rotation of the fan is displaced to the desired value.

    摘要: The fiber processing plant has a pneumatic flock feed system which is operated in dependence on an operating parameter which, in turn, is dependent upon the number of fiber processing machines which are operating at a given time. In one embodiment, a meter is disposed in a feed duct of the flock feed system between a fan and a first of the fiber processing machines in order to sense the static pressure therein. The meter is used to sense a difference in pressure caused by one or more fiber processing machines becoming inoperative so as to cause a switching on or off of the fiber supply to the feed duct.

    摘要: An electronic pressure responsive switch comprises an activating element and at least two sensors. The activating element and the sensors are arranged to be relatively displaceable with respect to one another whereby the sensors each generate signals when the activating element assumes a predetermined position relative to a respective sensor. The switch further has an elastic diaphragm having a first face exposed to pressure to be sensed and a reverse second face carrying either the activating element or the sensors. The diaphragm is deformable by the pressure whereby the relative position between the activating element on the one hand and the sensors on the other hand is varied as a function of the pressure.

    摘要: The connecting duct which directs the flock-laden air stream into the chute is provided with a restriction as well as with a ring duct for directing air impulses into the duct via openings on opposite sides of the duct. The restriction causes the air stream to accelerate and, since the air flow is closer to one opening, rather than the other, a reduced pressure is created on that side. This, in turn, causes a pulse of air to travel from one end of the ring duct to the other. The air pulse continues into the connecting duct to deflect the flock-laden air stream towards the other opening. This sequence then continues in rapid fashion to allow an even deposit of the flock in the chute.
