摘要: A disclosed dryer includes a receptacle configured to contain material to be dried, an air duct configured to route recirculating air and/or fresh air to the receptacle, a heating device configured to heat the recirculating air, and at least one sensor. The sensor is configured to determine a relative humidity and/or temperature, and the air duct includes at least one adjusting element configured to modify a portion of recirculating air routed to the receptacle. The dryer further includes a control or regulating device configured to control or regulate the portion of recirculating air routed to the receptacle and/or a heating capacity of the heating device during a drying process. A disclosed method includes controlling a portion of recirculating air routed to the receptacle and/or a heating capacity of the heating device. Further, a mixture of recirculating air and fresh air are varied during heat-up, drying, and cool-down phases.

The laundry treating appliance comprises a treating chamber for receiving the laundry that is selectively accessible through a door movable between opened and closed positions. The method comprises determining at the end of a laundry treating cycle whether the door has been opened and subsequently reclosed and reducing humidity in the treating chamber after the determination that the door has been reclosed.

摘要: An apparatus for use in the treatment of substrates with a solid particulate material, said apparatus comprising: (a) a housing having mounted therein a rotatably mounted drum (8) having an inner surface and an end wall; and (b) access means for introducing said substrates into said drum, wherein said drum comprises storage means (2) for storage of said solid particulate material and a plurality of flow paths to facilitate flow of said solid particulate material between said storage means and the interior of said drum (8), characterised in that: said drum (8) comprises a dispensing flow path (5) to facilitate flow of said solid particulate material from said storage means (2) to the interior of said drum (8), and a collecting flow path (6) to facilitate flow of said particulate material from the interior of said drum (8) to said storage means (2), wherein said dispensing flow path (5) and said collecting flow path (6) are different flow paths.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a tumble dryer (1) with a filter arrangement (12) located in a tumble dryer process air flow (21) for removing lint from process air leaving tumble dryer drum. The filter arrangement comprises a first coarse-mesh filter (25) and a second fine filter (27). A first sensor (41) detects a correct positioning of the first filter in the tumble dryer, and a second sensor (33) detects a pressure drop over a process air flow path comprising the second filter. A control arrangement (45) is configured to initiate a disabling operation which disables the fan arrangement (12), if the first filter is not correctly positioned in the tumble dryer or if the pressure drop over the second filter exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

摘要: A dryer has a drum for laundry items to be dried, a supply air channel, an exhaust air channel, a recirculated air channel branching off therefrom and discharging into the supply air channel upstream of a drum inlet, a blower, a heat pump having a condenser disposed in the supply air channel, an evaporator disposed in the exhaust air channel, a throttle, a compressor, a controller and a heater. The dryer is configured such that moist warm air flows out of the drum in an exhaust air channel part, substantially in the same direction as the supply air in an inlet part of the supply air channel containing the condenser. The process air leaving the drum has a relative air humidity Frel, to which Frelmin≤Frel≤Frelmax applies, wherein Frelmin is a predetermined minimum value and Frelmax is a maximum value of the relative air humidity.

摘要: A dryer appliance includes a microphone for monitoring sound generated during operation of the dryer appliance and a controller is operably coupled to the microphone. The controller is configured for obtaining a sound signal generated during operation of the dryer appliance and converting the sound signal into a spectrogram that represents a sound frequency and a sound amplitude over time. An artificial intelligence image recognition process is used to analyze the spectrogram to identify one or more sound signatures that are associated with particular operating conditions, and operation of the dryer appliance is adjusted based at least in part on the identification of the sound signature.
