摘要:
A method for continuously cooking grass raw materials, includes: (1) preparing grass raw materials by conventional dry or wet method to obtain a chopped grass; (2a) conveying the chopped grass into a T-shaped tube, adding a cooking liquor from a top of the tube and mixing with the chopped grass tube to obtain a forage; (2b) adding steam to the forage being in the horizontal tube, the forage being heated and going into a spherical mixer; (2c) adding a cooking liquor extruded by a dehydration spiral into the spherical mixer, mixing uniformly with the forage in the spherical mixer; (3) conveying the forage after the pre-cooking process to a digester, heating the cooking liquor by a heater arranged outside the digester, and sending the cooking liquor back to the digester for cooking the forage to obtain a pulp of the grass raw materials.

The method is for producing pulp in batch digesters. More particularly, the method is for ending a treatment phase of the digester content. In order to obtain a more uniform pulp quality from the process is the treatment phase ended by displacing a liquor volume (WLP) through the digester vessel with an imposed increasing temperature in the displacement liquor added to digester.

The present disclosure relates to a system and process in which pulp is produced using a chemical mechanical pulping process, during which lignocellulosic material undergoes fiberization without chemical impregnation. Chemical treatment of the lignocellulosic material is performed during or after fiberization of the material to become fiber bundles.

A method of wood pulping having a significantly increased yield is disclosed. Wood chips are chemically pulped to a high kappa number, providing a first accepts component and a first rejects component. The first rejects component is subjected to a high consistency pulping process such as a substantially mechanical pulping process to generate a second accepts component and a second rejects component. The first accepts component may be used in the production of saturating kraft paper with excellent saturability and resin pick up. The second accepts may be used as a second fiber source in the production of multiply linerboard and unbleached paperboard with enhanced stiffness, strength, and smoothness. Alternatively, the first accepts component may be blended with the second accepts component to produce fiber blends, which may be used in a production of paper-based products having enhanced strength and stiffness at low basis weight.

A method and system for pulp manufacturing used in connection with a kraft process includes a vertical pressure vessel operated in batch mode, a single-vessel or multi-vessel continuous digester, and other equipment for further processing brown stock, such as for washing, oxygen delignification, bleaching, and drying. A feeder and conveyance system may include a high pressure feeder or direct pump system, and selectively provides fiber-containing material to the continuous digester when making lower grade pulp product and to the vertical pressure vessel when making higher grade pulp such as dissolving pulp. The vertical pressure vessel is used for pre-hydrolysis and neutralization, after which the resulting pulp is fed to the continuous digester for cooking. White liquor and black liquor from the same mill may be used for the neutralization fluids. The same continuous digester is selectively used for cooking in connection with making pulp products of different grades or quality.

The GreenBox+ technology is suitable to extract hemicellulose sugars prior to pulping of biomass into pulp products. The revenue obtainable from the sugar stream can significantly improve the economics of a pulp and paper mill. An initial extraction and recovery of sugars is followed by production of a pulp product with similar or better properties. Other co-products such as acetates and furfural are also possible. Some variations provide a process for co-producing pulp and hemicellulosic sugars from biomass, comprising: digesting the biomass in the presence of steam and/or hot water to extract hemicellulose into a liquid phase; washing the extracted solids, thereby generating a liquid wash filtrate and washed solids; separating the liquid wash filtrate from the washed solids; refining the washed solids at a refining pH of about 4 or higher, thereby generating pulp; and hydrolyzing the hemicellulose to generate hemicellulosic fermentable sugars.

It is described a process for thermal hydrolysis and team explosion of biomass, said method comprising the steps of: (i) leading the biomass approximately continuous to a first preheating step and preheat the biomass, (ii) leading the preheated biomass into at least two reactors sequentially, (iii) heating and pressurising the reactor by addition of steam, (iv) keeping the reactor(s) at a certain temperature and pressure for a certain time, (v) leading the heated and pressurized biomass from the reactor(s) to a first pressure relief tank without any substantial pressure reduction and quickly relief the pressure of the biomass by means of a nozzle, in order to disintegrate the biomass, (vi) leading the biomass from the first pressure relief tank to a second pressure relief tank having a lower pressure than the pressure of the first pressure relief tank, (vii) leading the so treated biomass to a downstream facility for subsequent treatment. The invention also comprises a device for thermal treatment of biomass.
