摘要:
A flexible sheet material of thickness less than half a millimeter for making tensioned structures such as false ceilings, in particular, the material including microprojections formed by displacing the material from which it is made, said material presenting an acoustic absorption coefficient which is higher than that of the same material without said projections.

To provide a sound absorbing structure having a superior sound absorbing characteristic and an external appearance of the sound absorbing structure which does not cause flicker or the like, by disposal, for example, in the front of an air chamber, a plurality of ribs (2a) are disposed on one surface of the sound absorbing board body (2), and a plurality of through-holes (3) are provided in basal portions (2b) between the ribs (2a) to form a porous structure. Concealing materials (5) are provided between the ribs (2a) of the sound absorbing board body to conceal the through-holes (3), respectively.

A false ceiling for buildings designed to absorb acoustic waves has perfoed plates. One or several suspended plates (1, 6) are provided which are so hard that they cannot vibrate. The plates have a plurality of regularly or irregularly arranged holes (4, 7) with 0.2-3 mm diameter, the surface of the holes being less than 4% of the total surface. The air in the holes (4, 7) forms with the overlying cavities (11) a dampening active mass system of the foil absorber type.

The present invention relates to a novel installation of a sound attenuating laminate. More particularly, the invention relates to the installation of a simpler, lighter, and more effective noise attenuating laminate which is made up of seven layers of material. The laminate includes a duct liner, a moisture barrier, a first protecting layer, a screen, acoustic attenuating material, a second protecting layer, and a solid backing sheet. The laminate is readily incorporated into various sections of a jet engine compartment in order to attenuate the sound produced by the jet engine. Hollow rivets are used to conduct acoustical energy to the intermediary layers of the laminate. This novel means for conducting the acoustical energy to the intermediary layers of the laminate also allows for an improved anti-icing system, for more efficient jet engine operation, and for more efficient dissipation of acoustic energy.

The present invention provides a sheet material having bi-directionally formed micropores, pertaining to the field of material structures. The sheet material comprises a basic half side and a protrusive half side extending from the basic half side. The basic half side is formed with multiple recesses extending along a first orientation; while the protrusive half side has multiple beams extending along a second orientation. Herein the second orientation extends at an angle with respect to the first orientation, and a bottom edge is respectively formed at the intersection of the beam and the neighboring beam; also, a hole is respectively formed at the crossing position of the bottom edge and the recess.
