    摘要: A fitting adapted for a window with a frame and a wing connected to the frame by at least one hinge. The fitting includes a carrier piece that cooperates with an edge of the wing and an edge of the fixed frame, and a plurality of laths engaging the carrier piece in a shiftable fashion along the edge of the wing. The carrier piece defines at each end portion thereof a toothed profile configured and dimensioned to mutually engage a toothed profile defined at each end portion of the laths.

    摘要: A latch positioning mechanism for an aircraft door includes one or more locking members configured to be partially driven into a frame around the door via rotation of a pivot pin. A frame bumper extends outside of the door in a pre-catch position for contacting the frame. A catch bellcrank is operatively coupled to the frame bumper, and a biasing member biases rotation of the catch bellcrank to bias the frame bumper into the pre-catch position. The catch bellcrank is configured to contact a catch cam when the catch bellcrank is biased into the pre-catch position such that the catch cam prevents release of the one or more locking members for locking the door. Upon the frame bumper contacting the frame when the door is closed, the catch cam is released enabling the one or more locking members to be moved into a locked position.

    摘要: An around-the-corner locking mechanism is mounted using known tie-bar guides so as to cause a self-locating feature for the device on a casement or awning window. The device has an adjustable connecting link so that standard lock system tie bars can be used at industry standard spacings, while also being adaptable to custom sized windows. The mechanism, through an around-the-corner component, has tie bars integrated directly into the around-the-corner component so as to provide a locking point on a casement window jamb at a nearly constant distance from the head or sill of the window, and another linked locking point on the head or sill itself. The tie bars in the around-the-corner component can be linked through an adjustable length linking component to a driving tie bar and slave tie bars to provide still more locking points.

    摘要: There is disclosed a door assembly for use on an electric switch housing which is virtually arc proof. The door assembly includes a rectangular frame with a door pivotally connected to one side of the frame by an elongated piano type hinge. A multi-latch door lock secures the door to the frame by providing a plurality of locking latch points along three sides of the door and door frame. The multi-latch door lock is operated from a single handle to operate the lock between its locked and unlocked conditions. A fail safe mechanism is provided to automatically cut off the flow of current in the electric switch when the door is opened.
