    摘要: A seal that can be used in groove surfaces, in permanent glasswork, or in casement windows and is comprised of a sealing profile 1 having a profile base 3 and an anchoring wedge 2. On the side of the profile base 3 that is opposite the anchoring wedge 2, a sealing pad 4 and a sealing lip 5 are formed, and a nose strip 6 is positioned on the end of the sealing pad 4. These parts of the sealing profile 1 are made of a thermoplastic rubber. They are to be joined to the semi-finished closure of the window shortly following extrusion by the manufacturer. The corresponding semi-finished product can then be cut to size and joined by the window builder with the sealing profiles 1 being bonded together at the same time so that the entire seal is guaranteed. This makes the window builder's step of "inserting the sealing profile" completely unnecessary.

    摘要: The bead comprises a frame having front and rear longitudinally extending spaced-apart flanges. The front flange faces the windowpane when the bead is interlocked with a lateral projection of a framework. A weatherstrip is connected and extends along the frame before the front flange. The weatherstrip has a portion overlapping at least an end portion of the front flange for preventing direct contact of the front flange with the framework. Two flexible portions project from the weatherstrip. The first flexible portion presses against the periphery of the windowpane and the second flexible portion presses against the framework. A securing device interlocks the bead with the lateral projection of the framework. Heat losses are reduced because the bead has no direct contact with the framework and with the air surrounding the periphery of the weatherstrip.

The disclosure also includes the device including the elongated glazing stop that engages the panel and retains it upon a frame.

    摘要: An adjustable wall jamb is disclosed which can compensate for a variety of variations in wall structures when fitting a panel member thereto. One adjustable wall jamb is for a shower enclosure and affords a channel into which a portion of the wall panel is sealed, and thus provides a "floating" type seal without contacting an end of the adjustable wall jamb. The adjustable wall jamb is formed as a support post and is telescopingly fitted into a stud jamb. In an alternative embodiment, there is a one-piece adjustable wall jamb having securing flanges and sealing fingers formed as a one-piece unit. This can be utilized in conjunction with the square fitment of a panel to a wall, a corner construction, or an angled construction.
