    摘要: Multi-section sleeve valves for internal combustion engines for improved aspiration. An open connecting rod section is separated from an internal, tubular passageway by a closed wall. A port section proximate the wall defines valve ports. A power stroke midsection borders the port section. An oiling section borders the midsection, and an open section adjacent the oiling section is in fluid flow communication with the tubular passageway. The lower-diameter midsection forms a relief annulus between the valve and the tunnel or sleeve in which the valve is disposed. Fluid flow occurs through the valve interior and through ports dynamically positioned above the compression cylinder, proximate aligned sleeve and head ports. Sleeve ports are separated by bridges that maintain valve rings in compression during reciprocation to prevent damage. High pressure gas is confined between axially spaced apart, stepped sealing rings that prevent gases from flowing axially about the valve exterior.

    摘要: There is provided a gas engine fuel gas supply device in which a fuel gas flows along the axial direction on the outer circumferential side of an inlet valve rod, and is supplied into the inlet path in a cylinder head. In the device, in the inner circumferential surface of a sleeve slidably fitted with a projection, the projection being a portion of the inlet valve rod, there is provided a suction hole situated within the region of movement of the projection, and to be opened and closed in response to the movement of the inlet valve rod, and a fuel gas injection hole is formed in the bottom end face of the sleeve communicating with the suction hole. The device is characterized in that the sleeve is disposed so as not to protrude into the inlet path.

    摘要: A double valve mechanism which is the functioning part of an acoustic modtor which regulates airflow by creating air pressure variations. A pair of cylindrical shaped members, each of which has a plurality of elongated ports therein move relative to each other through electro-magnetic excitation. The motion of the two cylindrical shaped members is reciprocating causing the ports to first open and then close, thereby modulating the air flowing through the acoustic modulator. Linear motion of the cylindrical shaped members to displace the same port area is only one half of the linear motion required in a previous design, resulting in an acoustic energy output waveform having a frequency which is double the frequency of an electrical sinusoidal input signal supplied to the acoustic modulator.

    摘要: An air driven diaphragm pump having an actuator valve for converting a source of compressed air into a reciprocating drive. The actuator valve includes a valve piston for alternately directing air to one side or the other of the pumps, a control rod fixed to the reciprocating elements of the pump and means for shifting the valve piston responsive to the position of the control rod. An axially spaced bifurcated inlet is employed to provide additional energy to the shifting of the valve piston. The valve piston also is arranged to cover vent ports as a mechanism for closing off all compressed air under stalled conditions of the pump.
