Abstract: A filter element for filtering a fluid has a filter bellows arranged about the longitudinal axis of the filter element and enclosing an interior of the filter element. A first end disk open toward the interior is arranged at a first end of the filter element. A second closed end disk is arranged at a second end of the filter element. The second end is oppositely positioned to the first end in a direction of the longitudinal axis. The filter bellows has folds with radially outer fold edges positioned on an outer circumferential surface of the filter bellows. The filter bellows is provided with a notch at least at one of the first and second ends. The notch has an axial length in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The axial length is shorter than a length extension of the filter bellows in the direction of the longitudinal axis.

Abstract: The invention relates to a filter element for mounting in an air cleaner housing of a vehicle. The filter element comprises a circumferential filtering wall through which air is allowed to enter. The filter element also comprises a first end and an open second end for fluidly connecting the filter element to a turbo. The open second end is located opposite the first end. The circumferential filtering wall extends from the first end towards the open second end. The filter element further comprises a resonator. The entire resonator is encircled by the circumferential filtering wall such that air entering through the circumferential filtering wall passes on the outside of the resonator to and through the open second end.

Abstract: A filter element for a filter system for filtering a fluid has a filter bellows arranged about a longitudinal axis and enclosing an interior of the filter element. A closed end disk is arranged at a first end of the filter element and closes off the interior of the filter element. An end disk with an opening to the interior of the filter element is arranged at a second end of the filter element oppositely positioned to the first end viewed in direction of the longitudinal axis. The closed end disk has a hollow pin projecting into the interior of the filter element in direction of the longitudinal axis. The filter system has a housing for receiving the exchangeable filter element with a housing part closable by a cover. The hollow pin of the closed end disk can be pushed onto a pin of the housing part.

Abstract: A spin tube assembly for an engine air cleaner is provided. The spin tube assembly includes a housing, a spin tube panel, a plurality of spin tubes and at least one constrictor. The plurality of spin tubes are supported on the spin tube panel in parallel relation to one another. Each spin tube of the plurality of spin tubes includes a helical element causing air entering the spin tube to rotate such that particles within the air are moved by centrifugal action outwardly against a wall of the spin tube. At least one spin tube of the plurality of spin tubes has a constrictor upstream from the helical element thereof. The constrictor causes a localized restriction of air entering the at least one spin tube compared to the spin tubes without constrictors. Methods of use and configuration are also provided.

Abstract: A secondary filter element for a filter arrangement is provided with a filter medium and a circumferentially extending sealing device that seals the secondary filter element in respect to a filter receptacle of the filter arrangement.
