摘要: A method of detecting an air pocket in a concrete pump and minimizing the effect of the nozzle and boom reaction as the air pocket reaches the end of the boom. The hydraulic pressure of the pump is monitored to determine when a pump stroke contains air. Upon detection of air in a pump stroke, an alarm is sounded and the pump is slowed to minimize the effect of the air pocket when it reaches the nozzle of the boom.

摘要: The present invention relates to a subsea multipiston pump module, a subsea multistage pump and skid, having two reciprocating pistons controlled by a control means in such a way that the pistons can be driven either in a parallel mode, where the pistons are driven in phase with each other, or in a serial mode, where the pistons are driven out of phase with each other, wherein the pistons are fluidly connected with each other by a piston connection means in such a way that in parallel mode they are fluidly connected in parallel, and in serial mode, they are fluidly connected in serial. Further, the invention relates to a method of pumping a media fluid under subsea conditions.

摘要: The present invention is a sludge pump system which includes a means for monitoring operation of a sludge pump. The sludge pump includes a material cylinder and a piston moveable in the material cylinder. A pump drive moves the piston during working cycles which include a pumping stroke and a filling stroke. A pump valve mechanism connects the material cylinder to an outlet during pumping strokes and connects the material cylinder to an inlet during filling strokes. A means for monitoring operation of the pump is provided. The means for monitoring includes a means for sensing a first parameter related to operation of the pump drive, a means for sensing a second parameter indicative of operation of the piston, and a means for determining errors in the operation of the pump based upon the first parameter and the second parameter.

摘要: A system and method for controlling operation of a sludge material handling system is disclosed. The sludge material handling system includes a positive displacement piston/cylinder pump, a sludge material feed system which delivers sludge material to the pump, and a sludge material disposal system which receives and disposes of sludge material from the pump. A first parameter is sensed, the first parameter bearing a known relationship to an actual volume of sludge material delivered during a pumping cycle. An output value is determined from the first parameter. A control signal is provided as a function of the output value.

摘要: A system for monitoring the transport of concrete includes a computer, pump sensors, and a positive displacement pump for pumping concrete through a pipeline. The monitoring system senses and records the number of pump strokes and the pumping pressure during each pump stroke. The actual volume and instantaneous pumping rates of concrete pumped during each pump stroke are calculated. Based upon a calculated velocity and upon the pressure of the concrete being pumped, the monitoring system provides predicted component wear information for maintenance scheduling and warranty verification.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pumping device for delivering and metering fluids, in particular medical fluids such as dialysis fluids, with a piston unit having a driving device and a piston and with a membrane unit which has a membrane and a first chamber bordered by the membrane. The pumping device also has a hydraulic unit which has a space to accommodate a hydraulic fluid which is connected to the piston of the piston unit and to the first chamber of the membrane unit. The reliability of metering by such a pumping device is increased by providing a control unit for guaranteeing a predefinable metering rate and/or quantity and also providing a measuring device by means of which the axial position of the piston unit can be determined directly and which can be connected to the control unit.

摘要: The present invention is a sludge pump system which includes a means for monitoring operation of a sludge pump.
