    摘要: A torsional vibration damping arrangement for the drivetrain of a vehicle has an input region driven in rotation around an axis of rotation A and an output region. A first torque transmission path and a second torque transmission path parallel thereto proceed from the input region. A coupling arrangement communicates with the output region for superposing the torques guided via the torque transmission paths, and a phase shifter arrangement for the first torque transmission path generates a phase shift of rotational irregularities guided via the first torque transmission path relative to rotational irregularities guided via the second torque transmission path. The output region includes the planet gear carrier at which a planet gear is rotatably supported, and the planet gear carrier is connected to the output region to be fixed with respect to rotation relative to it.

    摘要: Torsional vibration damper arrangement in a housing with a drive-side transmission element, an output-side transmission element, and a planetary gear unit arranged there between having a sun gear, an arm supporting a planet gear, and a ring gear with an energy storage and damping element acting at the planetary gear unit. To increase the damping capacity and to accommodate a large energy storage volume and minimize friction effects due to centrifugal accelerations, one of the planetary gear unit members, the sun gear or the arm or the ring gear, can be coupled to the housing via the energy storage and damping element. The energy storage and damping element has a helical compression spring arranged in a circumferential groove in the transmission housing. The groove is spiral-shaped in axial direction of the transmission housing.

The torsional vibration damping arrangement includes a phase shifter arrangement for generating a phase shift of rotational irregularities transmitted via the first torque transmission path relative to rotational irregularities transmitted via the second torque transmission path.

    摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus configured to selectively increase the gear speed ratio coverage of an automatic transmission. The apparatus includes a torque converter operatively connected to and driven by an engine. A planetary gearset is operatively connected to the torque converter and the automatic transmission. Output from the torque converter is transferable through the planetary gearset to the automatic transmission such that additional speed ratios are obtainable. A clutch is disposed between the engine and the automatic transmission. The clutch is configured to selectively couple the engine and the automatic transmission such that the planetary gearset and the torque converter are bypassed.

    摘要: A starting apparatus formed by a torque converter is provided between an engine and a continuously variable transmission. A forward and reverse changeover apparatus is formed by a double pinion type planetary gear. Further, a reverse brake is disposed around a ring gear of the planetary gear and a forward clutch is mounted around the reverse brake. A lock-up clutch is provided near the forward clutch. A torque converter case encloses the torque converter, the forward and reverse changeover apparatus, the reverse brake, the forward clutch and the lock-up clutch therein. Since the planetary gear, the reverse brake and the forward clutch are arranged in the radial direction on substantially the same plane, the overall width of the continuously variable automatic transmission can be shortened and the number of components can be reduced.
