摘要: A mechanical system comprising a sump and at least one component to be lubricated or cooled arranged in the sump, the mechanical system comprising a lubricating fluid system provided with a lubricating fluid and a tank arranged in the sump. The tank is a leaking tank and is situated above said at least one component to be lubricated or cooled, the lubricating fluid flowing out of the tank by force of gravity, so as to reach said at least one component to be lubricated or cooled. The lubricating fluid system has at least one lift flow generator connected by at least one filling line to the tank and to at least one suction point present in a bottom of the sump. The lift flow generator fills the tank with the lubricating fluid present in said bottom at least during a starting phase.

摘要: A lubrication system includes a reserve housing configured to retain a lubrication fluid. A supply line in fluid communication with the reserve housing is configured to provide pressurized lubrication fluid to the reserve housing. An overflow tube has an overflow port, the overflow tube being configured to prevent the volume of the lubrication fluid from exceeding a certain amount. A metering jet is configured to allow the lubrication fluid to flow from the reserve housing onto a component, such as a bearing, in the gearbox at a predetermined rate. The metering jet provides flow of the lubrication fluid onto the bearing even when the supply line no longer provides pressurized lubrication fluid to the reserve housing.

摘要: A sharp-edged orifice, located in an hydraulic circuit between a lubrication system and a source of lubrication, is connected to a flow control valve, which balances the differential pressure across the orifice and throttles the source of fluid pressure to a lubrication feed line. A lube augmentation valve, responsive to pressure, present when operating in forward drive, alternately opens and closes lubrication fluid flow through a second sharp-edged orifice located in a line arranged in parallel with the first orifice and connected downstream from that orifice and upstream from the lubrication circuit.
