摘要: A plant or refinery may include equipment such as condensers, regenerators, distillation columns, pumps, slide valves, or the like. Different operating methods may impact deterioration in equipment condition, thereby prolonging equipment life, extending production operating time, or providing other benefits. Mechanical or digital sensors may be used for monitoring equipment to determine whether problems are developing. Specifically, sensors may be used in conjunction with one or more system components to predict and detect slide valve sticking. An operating condition of the plant or refinery may be adjusted to prolong equipment life or avoid equipment failure.

The pressure reduction device is distinctive in that it comprises at least one relatively long flow bore conduit shaped as a spiral or a spiral arranged on the surface of a cone or frustum. 摘要: A sliding screen valve for controlling fluid flow comprises a multi-apertured valve plate (50, 90) configured for sliding movement relative to a multi-apertured valve seat between closed and open configurations and comprises an array of apertures (60, 100) separated from one another by elongate interstitial elements angled at between 15 to 45 degrees from the axis of motion. The valve plate may be operatively connected via an actuator frame (274) controlling its movement to an actuator for sliding movement relative to the valve seat, and may be connected to the actuator via a resilient support element (272) configured to allow a floating movement of the valve plate normal to the valve plate. Initiation or termination of the sliding movement may be damped by at least one damping mechanism. The screen valve may be configured for lateral reciprocating movement and be used in gas compression and/or expansion equipment such as piston compressors or expanders.

摘要: A switching assembly of a gas stove includes a regulating valve, a knob, a stop board, and a restricting device. The regulating valve has a valve member and a regulating member, which is rotatable to regulate a gas flow through the valve member. The knob is connected to an end of a shaft which is connected to the regulating member with an opposite end thereof, and therefore the regulating member can be rotated by turning the knob. The stop board is located between the valve member and the knob, wherein the stop board has a curved slot, which has a first stop portion and a second stop portion. The restricting member is movable in the curved slot and is restricted by the first or the second stop portions. When the restricting member touches the first stop portion, the switching assembly allows larger gas flow to flow through.

摘要: A balanced globe valve assembly includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet and a cage disposed within the housing between the inlet and the outlet. The cage includes a valve seat and at least one port formed therein. The balanced globe valve assembly further includes a valve member disposed within the cage and coupled to the housing. The valve member is movable within the cage between an open position in which the valve member is spaced from the valve seat and a closed position in which the valve member is seated within the valve seat so that the valve member blocks the at least one port. The valve member has a small opening formed therein to balance the valve member. A method of controlling a flow of fluid through a balanced globe valve assembly is further disclosed.
