At least one connecting channel connects the process fluid region to the compensation chamber. The free front face of the piston has an elevation, which is surrounded by the outer sealing region. The elevation protrudes over the outer circumferential sealing region. The valve permits a rapid and precisely timed opening.

The valve washer (10) has a central opening (13) through which the gaseous medium passes, wherein the first circumferential sealing edge (30) surrounds the central opening (13) and wherein, in the central opening (13), there is formed a first pressure face (25) upon which the gaseous medium acts in the closing direction. Furthermore, there is arranged on the valve washer (10) a second pressure face (26) which is formed radially outside the first circumferential sealing edge (30) and on which the gaseous medium also acts. The first pressure face (25) and the second pressure face (26) are connected via a connection passage (15; 17; 24) formed in the valve plate (12).

    摘要: The disclosed embodiments include a pressure balance valve that solves one or more problems associated with existing designs. For example, in one embodiment, a pressure balancing valve assembly is disclosed that provides a low cost frictionless assembly that is constructed to not seal the leak path between an inlet port and an outlet port. Instead, this leak path is minimized with small angle tapered plunger and a precision bored annulus to provide a defined area for the pressure drop to occur and to limit the flow from the inlet to the outlet.

    摘要: A trim assembly is provided with a cage with an internal surface and a cage port. A plug having an external surface is disposed in the cage and is operable between a closed position, a pressure balancing position and an open position. The trim assembly also includes a low friction flow restrictor disposed between the cage and the plug and a pressure energized seal disposed between the cage and the plug. A seal balancing volume defined by the internal surface of the cage, the external surface of the plug, the low friction flow restrictor and the pressure energized seal is provided. The seal balancing volume is in fluid communication with the cage port through the low friction flow restrictor and is maintained at a seal balancing volume pressure. The trim assembly further includes a pressure control assembly configured to vent the seal balancing volume.

    摘要: A solenoid-operated valve of the kind that is used in a subsea control pod comprises a valve assembly (2) and a solenoid assembly (1). The valve assembly (2) comprising has fluid ports (P, S, T) for the receipt and delivery of hydraulic control fluid and a valve element (37, 38, 39) that is actuable between open and closed positions in order to control the flow of hydraulic control fluid between the fluid ports. The valve element (37, 38, 39) is actuable by an actuating member of the solenoid assembly (1). The solenoid chamber (A) is filled with oil and sealed against ingress of hydraulic control fluid from the valve chamber (36) and from the ingress of oil and/or seawater from the control pod. A movable pressure balancing device (30) is provided in the solenoid assembly (1) so as to ensure that the internal pressure of the oil in the solenoid chamber (A) and the external pressure of the oil in the control pod are balanced.
