    摘要: A valve for metering a fluid, which is used in particular as a fuel injector for internal combustion engines, includes an electromagnetic actuator and a valve needle, which is actuatable by the actuator, and is used for actuating a valve closing body, which interacts with a valve seat surface to form a seal seat. An armature of the actuator has a through hole, through which the valve needle extends. The armature is guided on the valve needle movably and with clearance. Furthermore, a stop surface which is fixed in place with respect to the valve needle is provided, on which the armature strikes with its end face in conjunction with an actuation. During an axial alignment of the armature with respect to the valve needle, an angle offset is predefined between the stop surface and the end face of the armature.

    摘要: An electrically operated valve actuator effective for shifting a valve (10) between open and closed positions is disclosed, the valve actuator comprising a movable member in the form of a valve stem (21) connected to a valve body (14), the movable member being driven by an electric motor (22) in linear motion between valve closing and valve opening positions, wherein electrical power to the motor is supplied via a current (25) control including a supplied current detection device. The movable member is designed for an idling length of travel (L) in the opening and closing directions during which the valve (10) is either fully open or fully closed, and the movable member is associated with buffer means (30) that during the idling length of travel gradually increases the torque and power required to move the movable member further in the open and closed positions of the valve (10), respectively.

    摘要: A valve apparatus includes valve box, valve shaft, first flexible film, and second flexible film. The valve box includes inlet and outlet, and forms a space therein for housing the fluids. The valve shaft is inserted into through-hole formed in the wall of the valve box, and moves in the longitudinal direction of the through-hole to move valve body in order to block the flow of the fluids from inlet to outlet. The first flexible film includes a through-hole into which the valve shaft is inserted. The outer peripheral end of the first flexible film is fixed to the peripheral edge of the through-hole, and the peripheral edge of the through-hole of the first flexible film is fixed to the outer periphery of the valve shaft to close the gap between the through-hole and the valve shaft. The second flexible film forms a part of the wall of valve box.

    摘要: The disclosure provides devices and methods for controlling the actuation rates of SPM valves by bi-directionally controlling the fluid which actuates the valve or by maintaining enclosed volumes which communicate with each other thru predetermined restrictions as the valve actuates. These enclosed volumes can be completely isolated, depth compensated, share fluid with the pilot actuating fluid, or utilize the main system fluid. The restrictions can be modified to increase or decrease the actuation rates of the SPM valve. The disclosure also provides control over the main system fluid passage opening and closing positions as well as how rapidly the flow passage areas increase or decrease while opening or closing the valve.

    摘要: An electronic control valve having a valve stationary portion defining a substantially central bore extending along an axis of the valve, and a valve train including a movable member of the valve. The valve train moveable member is disposed in the central bore, and the valve train is adapted for reciprocal movement along the axis. A mass is engaged is with the valve train and adapted for reciprocal movement along the axis. A biasing means is disposed between the valve train and the mass. Reciprocal movements of the mass along the axis induced by forces exerted along the axis by the valve train are transmitted through the biasing means, whereby reciprocal movement of the valve train along the axis is dynamically reduced by the mass.

    摘要: The disclosed embodiments include an apparatus and a method for controlling fluid flow. In accordance with certain of the disclosed embodiments, a valve is disclosed that comprises a yoke that encases a coil. The yoke has a gap adjacent to a central aperture of the yoke. A core tube is placed in the central aperture. The core tube has a core slidingly disposed within an interior chamber for controlling a fluid flow rate from a flow inlet to a flow outlet. A current is provided to the coil. Magnetic flux, generated by the coil in response to the current, is directed through the gap to cause the core to move proportionally based on the amount of current provided to the coil for changing the fluid flow rate from the flow inlet to the flow outlet.
