摘要: A hole-shape measuring apparatus is provided with a hole diameter measuring mechanism which measures the diameter of a flush bolt hole, and a countersunk head depth measuring mechanism which measures a countersunk head depth. The hole diameter measuring mechanism has a hole diameter measuring rod configured so as to be inserted into a constant portion at a tip portion and displaced according to the diameter of the constant portion, and a hole diameter measuring sensor which measures the amount of displacement of the hole diameter measuring rod. The countersunk head depth measuring mechanism has a countersunk head depth measuring rod configured so as to be inserted into a countersunk head portion at a tip portion and displaced according to the countersunk head depth, and a countersunk head depth measuring sensor which measures the amount of displacement of the countersunk head depth measuring rod.

摘要: Referring now to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals designate identical or corresponding parts through-out the several views, FIG. 1 illustrates a prior art agricultural combine 10 which is supported and propelled by ground engaging wheels 14. Although the combine 10 is illustrated as being supported and propelled on ground engaging wheels 14 it can also be supported and propelled by full tracks or half tracks. A harvesting assembly 16 is used to gather crop and to conduct it to a feederhouse 18. The crop is conducted by the feederhouse 18 to a beater 20. The beater 20 guides the crop upwardly through an intake transition region 22 to a rotary threshing and separating assembly 24. In addition to rotary type combines such as that illustrated in FIG. 1, the prior art includes conventional combines having a transverse threshing cylinder and straw walkers or combines having a transverse threshing cylinder and rotary separator rotors.

摘要: Eddy current detection probes and related methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, the eddy current detection probes are hybrid probes, including a solid state sensor and a detection loop. In some embodiments, the eddy current detection probes include a drive coil and a detection loop, with the detection loop having a sensitive axis that is not parallel to principal axis of the drive coil. In some such embodiments, the sensitive axis of the detection loop is perpendicular to the principal axis of the drive coil.

An electrical resistance between the pair of electrodes is determined by a magnetic field proximate the sensor surface.
