摘要: A sensor arrangement for determining a process variable of a medium in a containment comprises a sensor apparatus, a magnetic field apparatus, and a detection apparatus. The magnetic field apparat produces a magnetic field that penetrates the sensor apparatus, the detection apparatus and partially the medium. The sensor apparatus is embodied such that a magnetic property of a component of the sensor apparatus depends on the process variable, and the magnetic field of the magnetic field apparatus is influenceable by the sensor apparatus as a function of process variable. The detection apparatus is embodied to register a variable related with the magnetic field, especially the magnetic flux density, the magnetic susceptibility or the magnetic permeability, and, based on that variable, to determine the process variable. The sensor apparatus is arranged within an internal volume of the containment and the detection apparatus is arranged outside of the containment.

摘要: Systems, methods and apparatuses for inspecting a tank containing a flammable fluid are provided. The system includes a vehicle having a propeller, a latch mechanism, a pressure switch, and an inspection device. The system includes a control unit in communication with the propeller, the latch mechanism, and the inspection device, and electrically connected to the pressure switch. The control unit powers on responsive to the pressure switch detecting an ambient pressure greater than a minimum threshold. The control unit receives, from the latch mechanism, an indication of a state of the latch mechanism. The control unit determines that the cable used to lower the vehicle into the tank containing the flammable fluid is detached from the vehicle. The control unit commands the propeller to move the vehicle through the flammable fluid. The control unit determines a quality metric of a portion of the tank.

摘要: A method of manufacturing is provided. The method can include determining a cross-sectional shape of an object to be inspected using a sensor configured with a sensor coil. The method can also include providing a substrate having a profile matching the cross-sectional shape of the object. The method can further include applying a dielectric material to the substrate in a patter matching a shape of the sensor coil. The method can also include forming a first layer of a first material on the dielectric material by sputtering particles of the first material on the dielectric material in the pattern and forming additional layers of the first material atop the first layer by iteratively depositing the additional layers in the pattern via an additive manufacturing technique. A sensor including a sensor coil formed via the method is also provided.
