摘要: Methods of defining a virtual fence and for detecting a body inside or outside a region of interest defined by the virtual fence and/or of determining a height for a body on a surface in a region of interest use radar signals and a configuration mode and a monitoring mode are disclosed. In the configuration mode coordinates for defining a virtual fence are determined and/or a topology of a surface in the region of interest is determined. In the monitoring mode, a location of a second body on the surface is detected to determine if the second body is inside or outside the virtual fence and/or a height of for the second body relative to the determined topology is determined.

摘要: This disclosure describes, in part, techniques for implementing customized intrusion zones for security monitoring. For instance, a user may provide (e.g., via a GUI) an indication of a physical space to be monitored. An electronic device may detect one or more objects and its respective location from radar data collected by a radar sensor. The electronic device may additionally detect one or more objects within image data captured via a camera. The electronic device may then analyze the radar data and the image data in order to determine that the object detected by the radar sensor includes the same object represented by the image data. As such, the electronic device may send an alert to one or more computing devices that may include the radar data and/or the image data.

摘要: A occupant detection and monitoring system has a sensor unit having a radio wave transmitter, a radio wave receiver, and a wireless transmitter configured to detect and receive vital signs of an occupant; a user interface having a microcontroller, a wireless receiver configured to receive the wireless signals transmitted from the sensor unit, a means for user input, and a network card; and a means for alerting occupants and third-parties to a triggering event; wherein the microcontroller, based upon logic, activates the alerting means at the triggering event. The sensor unit may be a camera that detects the presence of an individual and register their unique heart rhythm for identification purposes. This camera can be installed at the entry points of a home, behind the counter of a business near a cash register or at a bank or any other place that desires to use surveillance as a form of security. The sensor unit may be a light bulb that comprises the components of the sensor unit. The sensor unit may be a contactless vital sign monitor capable of remotely monitoring one or more vital signs.

摘要: A method of detecting threats. A threat detection system is provided that includes a controller, a millimeter wave radar with transceiver, a signature database, and a camera. The signature database or machine learning includes time and frequency domain characteristic data for a threat. A signal is emitted by the millimeter wave radar. A return signal is received when the signal bounces off an object. Time and frequency domain characteristic data of the return signal is compared to the signature database, or the machine learned characteristics to determine the threat, anomaly, foreign object, material characteristics, and threat speech recognition.
