    摘要: A holographic display device for computing a video hologram of a scene is disclosed. The scene comprises a multitude of object points. The holographic display device comprises at least one light modulator means. Said holographic display device is configured to perform the steps of (a) defining a visibility region within a periodicity interval of the video hologram of the scene to be reconstructed; (b) for each object point, defining a modulator region by the defined visibility region together with each object point of the scene to be reconstructed, where a sub-hologram of an object point of the scene to be reconstructed is computed for each modulator region, and where an entire video hologram is created by superposition of said sub-holograms; (c) determining complex hologram values of a sub-hologram in a modulator region from a wave front of an object point to be reconstructed by computing modulation functions of an imaging element which is modeled in the respective modulator region of said holographic display device, and in whose focal point the object point to be reconstructed lies, where the sub-hologram of said object point is computed using the modulation functions, and (d) encoding the video hologram of the scene into the screen means.

    摘要: A holographic display device for computing a video hologram of a scene is disclosed. The scene comprises a multitude of object points. The holographic display device comprises at least one light modulator means.     摘要: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to negative refractive index-based holograms that can be electronically controlled and dynamically reconfigured to generate one or more color three-dimensional holographic images. In one aspect, a hologram comprises a phase-control layer having a plurality of phase modulation elements. The phase-modulation elements are configured with a negative effective refractive index and selectively transmit wavelengths associated with one of three primary color wavelength. The hologram also includes an intensity-control layer including a plurality of intensity-control elements. One or more color three-dimensional images can be produced by electronically addressing the phase-modulation elements and intensity-control elements in order to phase shift and control the intensity of light transmitted through the hologram. A method for generating a color holographic image using the hologram is also provided, as is a system for generating a color holographic image.

    摘要: This invention relates to a holographic projection device with an array of mirror elements in the form of micro-mirrors. The holographic projection device comprises at least one light modulator device, which contains the array of mirror elements, for an enlargement of a reconstruction space for a reconstructed scene. Each mirror element is coupled with at least one actuator. The actuators tilt the corresponding mirror elements and/or displace them axially in at least one direction. Thereby, a wave front for the representation of a reconstructed scene is directly modulated. The holographic projection device comprises an optical system for the projection of the modulated wave front into at least one observer window in an observer plane.
