The sympathique hand-setting mechanism includes a coupling device (40) interposed between the going (20) and display (30) trains, the coupling device (40) being configured to adopt an uncoupled state in which it disengages the going train (20) from the display train (30) so as to allow the hands to be set on the display by means of the sympathique hand-setting mechanism, and a coupled state in which it establishes a kinematic link between the gear trains, the link allowing for sliding enabling the hands to be set on the display by means of the crown (13) operated hand-setting mechanism.

    摘要: The mechanical timepiece movement includes at least one barrel, a set of gear wheels driven at one end by the barrel, and an escapement mechanism of a local oscillator with a resonator in the form of a sprung balance and a feedback system for the timepiece movement. The escapement mechanism is driven at another end of the set of gear wheels. The feedback system includes at least one precise reference oscillator combined with a frequency comparator to compare the frequency of the two oscillators and a mechanism for regulating the local oscillator resonator to slow down or accelerate the resonator based on the result of a comparison in the frequency comparator.

    摘要: A capacitor trimming system for a quartz-crystal oscillator in a watch and/or a clock for providing a punctual watch and/or a clock has been found. The system comprises an oscillation circuit including at least a quartz-crystal piece, a trimmer capacitor for adjusting the oscillating frequency of the quartz-crystal piece, a semiconductor electronic circuit for operating said quartz-crystal piece, and apparatus for adjusting automatically the trimmer capacitor so that the oscillating frequency becomes the same as the desired reference frequency. The trimmer capacitor comprises of at least a fixed outer trimming electrode, an inner common electrode fixed parallel to said trimming electrode and a dielectric body sandwiched between the two electrodes. The trimming electrode is disposed in the air for enabling the trimming of the area of the trimming electrode, and the trimming electrode has a coarse adjustment portion parallel and aligned with said common electrode and a fine adjustment portion attached to the same plane of that of the coarse adjustment portion but outside of the common electrode. The oscillation frequency of the quartz-crystal piece is automatically picked up and the frequency is compared with the desired reference frequency, and according to the result of the comparison, the trimming electrode is trimmed so that the oscillating frequency becomes the desired reference frequency. The trimming is carried out first for the coarse trimming portion, and secondly for the fine adjustment portion.

    摘要: A portable programmer is disclosed for programming and testing a multiple rate meter such as an electronic time-of-day meter system. The portable programmer includes a quartz crystal controlled seven-day clock. A time comparator is driven in synchronism with a signal which drives the clock in the time-of-day meter. When the time of the time comparator is equal to that of the programmer's timer, a compare signal is generated to switch the time in the meter to its standard time base. A programmable read-only memory in the portable programmer stores a plurality of different programs, each of which can be selectively read into the time-of-day meter. The output of the programmable read-only memory is read out and compared with the time generated by the time comparator. When a comparison exists an output is generated to a program comparator which compares the control output of the time-of-day meter with the control output signal from the portable programmer, and if a comparison exists an indication is given indicating that the program has been properly read into the time-of-day meter. A method of programming and testing a multiple rate metering system by using the portable programmer is also disclosed.
