    Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses, and methods are provided pertaining to lockers that can be secured in a docking station. In some embodiments, a system comprises a docking station, the docking station configured to selectively secure and release one or more lockers and receive a command to allow one of the one or more lockers to be released, wherein each of the one or more lockers is removable from the docking station, and wherein each of the one or more lockers comprises a storage portion and a securement mechanism for securing each of the one or more lockers to the docking station.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, systems, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to deliver retail products outside of a retail facility including: one or more sensors configured to monitor personal items associated with at least one of a user or a personal status of the user; a shopping user interface configured to operate on an electronic user device associated with the user; and a control circuit configured to: monitor individual activity associated with the user; estimate a travel location of the user; present a suggested retail item to the user based, in part, on readings from the one or more sensors monitoring the personal items associated with the at least one of the user or the personal status of the user; receive a request for the suggested retail item; and instruct delivery of the suggested retail item to the user at the travel location.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to enable delivery to a delegate of a user. A calendar function of the user can be utilized to determine whether a delivery can be successfully completed. In several embodiments, a system as described herein can access wireless smart devices of the user and one or more delegates thereof to schedule a delivery of one or more products. The system analyzes locations and times of scheduled events to determine whether the user has a conflict for a delivery time and, if so, whether any of the delegates are authorized and available to receive the delivery. The system can send out notifications and/or invites based on priorities determined by the user.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful for processing shipments at a store such that products are routed to the store floor, another delivery vehicle, a packing or unpacking area, or directly to a customer. In some embodiments, a distribution system includes a delivery database, an order database, sensors configured to identify items as they are unloaded from a shipment, and a control circuit. By one approach, the control circuit creates a routing plan with placement instructions for bundles, containers, and pallets of items in the shipment based on the inventory records and the customer orders in the order database (which can be updated with new orders during transit of the shipment). Further, the control circuit is configured to receive identifying information, via the sensors, for items unloaded and send instructions to an associate unloading the bundle, container, or pallet regarding a placement location for the items.
