摘要： In order to produce synchronous control signals of a video recorder, in particular of a digital video recorder, a position pulse of the scanner motor, which coincides with the beginning of the video frame, is used as time zero point. Time markers in which changes in the control signals take place are calculated starting from this time zero point. These time markers and the bit patterns occurring at these time markers are stored as data words in a data field and, for corresponding time markers, the corresponding data word is output in parallel, that is to say synchronously. A realization is possible by means of a microcontroller and a controllable output memory, the microcontroller containing the functions of capture register, timer, calculation unit and comparator.

摘要： A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus for recording a desired sound or picture signal to a magnetic tape by a magnetic head. At the time of normal-speed recording and reproduction, the magnetic tape is taken up at a constant speed, but by changing the tape travelling speed of the tape on the rotary drum, DTF control and high-speed noiseless reproduction are enabled. The tension of the tape on the entrance side of the rotary drum is controlled to a desired value. This apparatus includes a tape tension actuator and a tape drawing actuator on the entrance side and on the exit side, respectively, of the rotary drum. In DTF control, both tape actuators correct a tracking error of the tape in cooperation with each other. In high-speed noiseless reproduction, both tape actuators are differentially driven so as to lower the tape travelling speed on the rotary drum. Both tape actuators are driven in feedback control using the modern control.

摘要： A recording or reproducing apparatus according to the present invention includes a loading member movable between an unloading position at which a tape is accommodated into a cassette and a loading position at which the tape is pulled out from the cassette and wrapped around a rotary head drum to enable recording or reproduction, a detecting circuit for causing the rotary head drum to start rotating when the loading member is located at a predetermined position between the unloading and loading positions and the tape is wrapped around the rotary head drum by a predetermined angle, and detecting a rotational speed which the rotary head drum reaches within a predetermined time, and a control circuit for driving the loading member to the loading position if it is determined that the rotary head drum is not wet with dew condensation from the rotational speed of the rotary head drum detected by the detecting circuit, and if it is determined that the rotary head drum is wet with dew condensation, driving the loading member to the unloading position.

A divisional time producing module produces a plurality of divisional times obtained by adding successive integer multiples of a period reference for the drum frequency signal to an occurrence time of a phase reference signal that is used for internal signal processing. A rotary drum controlling module computes a plurality of phase errors, each determined by the difference between an occurrence time of the drum frequency signal and an associated divisional time, and controls the phase of the rotary drum based on the phase errors. Accordingly, the controller can quickly establish the desired synchronism of the rotary drum with the phase reference signal.

摘要： A data conversion method from m bits of data words into n bits of code words in recording or transmission, in which n is larger than m. A number of bit "0" arranged between one bit "1" and a next bit "1" is restricted to at most 4 in a code string of each code word, and a pair of groups of the n bits of code words corresponding to CDSs (code word digital sum) of two codes +1 and -1 are allowed to correspond to the m bits of data words. One of the two codes +1 and -1 is selectively used according to a DSV (digital sum variation) control signal to convert the m bits of data word into the n bits of code word. A pilot signal formation method using the data conversion method for obtaining a tracking error signal in a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus, and a rotary magnetic head device for use in a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus are also disclosed.

The control signal is a composite signal including a reference signal and timing information of a frame signal and a color frame signal, which is formed by changing the duty ratio of the reference signal, having N times (where N is a natural number larger than 2) the frequency of the frame signal and a first duty ratio, to a second duty ratio at a predetermined position and to a third duty ratio at another position during the period of the color frame signal. A signal separator separates the frame signal and the color frame signal from the reproduced control signal by detecting the first or second duty ratio from the control signal, which is generated from the control signal generator, recorded on and reproduced from a video tape.
