    Abstract: An electrical cable for high-voltage circuits is used in fixed type apparatuses such as office or home appliances. The electrical cable includes a tubular core portion formed of fluorine rubber and a magnetic material mixed therewith. The tubular core portion is wound with a conductive wire. The diameter of the conductive wire is set to be about 40 &mgr;m at the most, so that number of spirals can be more than about 10,000 spirals/m. Under these conditions, even when the electrical cable is flexed, spirals of the conductive wire are prevented from being superposed or stacked. The electrical cable can thus be provided with a high impedance and prevented from noise penetration.

    Abstract: A high-tension resistance cable capable of maintaining a distributed capacitance not greater than 80 pF/m while having an outer diameter not greater than 5 mm includes a central resistance conductor which is no more than 0.8 mm in diameter. In one embodiment, the resistance is formed of a reinforcement core, a ferrite core layer, and a metal winding layer. In the metal winding layer, wires, having an outer diameter of 0.04 to 0.045 mm, are wound at a density of 91-115 times per centimeter around the ferrite core layer.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a dependable electrical termination for a high-voltage, low-current insulated electrical conductor, i.e., an ignition cable and to the process of making the electrical termination. The termination comprises a metallic staple, preferably of U-shaped construction, which is driven through the insulating sheath of the ignition cable into firm electrical contact with a central current-carrying member of the nonmetallic type. The plane of the metallic staple is approximately parallel to the central current-carrying member, and the central portion of the staple is exposed. A conductive cylinder or ferrule is positioned over the end of the ignition cable and in electrical contact with the exposed central portion of the staple.
