Abstract: A protective device includes a substrate, an electrode layer, a metal structure, an outer cover and an arc extinguishing structure. The electrode layer is disposed on the substrate. The electrode layer includes at least one gap. The metal structure is disposed on the electrode layer and located above the gap, and the metal structure has a melting temperature lower than a melting temperature of the electrode layer. The outer cover is disposed on the substrate and covers the metal structure and a portion of the electrode layer. The arc extinguishing structure is disposed between the outer cover and the substrate. A protective module is further provided.

Abstract: An electrical fuselink having improved surge-resistant characteristics comprises a fuse element (1) disposed in an electrically insulating enclosure (4) having all or part of the air-space within the enclosure filled with a microporous or microcellular insulating material (2) which has low intrinsic thermal conductivity and cavities or cells of a size less than the average inter-molecular collision distance of the gas, normally air, occupying its cavities or cells. Abstract: A fuse includes an insulating substrate, a wiring, low-melting-point metal portions insulating layers and metal films. The wiring is located on one principal surface of the insulating substrate. The low-melting-point metal portions are provided over the wiring. The low-melting-point metal portions have a lower melting point than the wiring, and dissolves the wiring when the portions turn into a melt.
