摘要: An SMD-solderable component comprises a resistance element, a first contact element, and a second contact element, wherein the first contact element is connected with a first end section of the resistance element by means of a first soldered connection and the second contact element is connected with a second end section of the resistance element by means of a second soldered connection. At least one of the first soldered connection and the second soldered connection is a lead-free soldered connection that is made with a lead-free solder preform. 摘要: A protection device comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a fusible element and a heating element. The first substrate comprises a first surface, and the second substrate comprises a second surface facing the first surface. The fusible element is disposed on the first surface of the first substrate, and the heating element is disposed on the second surface of the second substrate and is disposed above the fusible element. When over-voltage or over-temperature occurs, the heating element heats up to blow the fusible element and thereby providing over-voltage and over-temperature protection.

摘要: A controllable circuit protector for power supplies with different voltages includes a first fuse and a second fuse connected in series to each other, a first heating unit, and at least one second heating unit in parallel to the first heating unit. A connected end of the first heating unit is electrically connected to a series-connected node between the first fuse and the second fuse, and a free end thereof forms a control terminal. When a load is irregular, the control terminal is connected to a ground terminal through a switch. For power supplies with different voltages, the effective resistance of the first heating unit and a part of the at least one second heating unit not melting is altered without causing drastic change arising from voltage variation to the total heating power, and the first fuse or the second fuse can duly melt down to protect the load.

摘要: To produce a cost-effective fuse in chip design, which is applied to a carrier substrate made of a Al2O3 ceramic having a high thermal conductivity, and which is provided with a fusible metallic conductor and a cover layer, in which the melting point of the metallic conductor may be defined reliably, it is suggested that an intermediate layer having low thermal conductivity be positioned between the carrier substrate and the metallic conductor, the intermediate layer being formed by a low-melting-point inorganic glass paste applied in the screen-printing method or an organic intermediate layer applied in island printing. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing the fuse is specified.

摘要: A multiphase medium voltage vacuum contactor is disclosed which can include a mounting frame on which there are positioned: for each phase, a current interrupter having a vacuum bulb which contains a fixed contact and a corresponding movable contact; and an actuator for moving the movable contacts between a closed position where they are coupled each to a corresponding fixed contact and an open position where they are each electrically separated from the corresponding fixed contact, and an electronic unit driving the actuator. An exemplary voltage transformer for feeding the electronic unit can be mounted on the frame. One or more sacrificial fault-protection devices and/or current sensors can be operatively associated to the voltage transformer and embedded into an electrically insulating coating encasing the transformer.

摘要: A method for fabricating an electrically programmable fuse structure is provided. The method includes providing a substrate. The method also includes forming an anode and a cathode on the substrate. Protective element includes an insulating substrate, heat-generating resistor laminated onto the insulating substrate, insulating member covering the heat-generating resistor, first and second electrode laminated onto the insulating substrate, heat-generating element extracting electrode laminated onto the insulating member so as to overlap the heat-generating element and electrically connected to the heat-generating element on a current path between the first and second electrodes, meltable conductor which is laminated above the heat-generating element extracting electrode between the first and second electrode which interrupts the current path between the first and second electrode by melting due to heat, and oxide film removing material for removing oxide film generated on the meltable conductor, the oxide film removing material having a plurality of different activation temperatures.
