    摘要: A level shifter includes a first level shift module for producing a shifted signal by adjusting a direct current (DC) level of an input signal by a first bias voltage having a first polarity. A second level shift module produces an output signal by adjusting a DC level of the shifted signal by a second bias voltage having a second polarity. The first polarity is opposite to the second polarity and the sum of the first bias voltage and the second bias voltage is a non-zero voltage.

The electronic circuit has a pair of complimentary current mirrors. Depending on the polarity of the bipolar current signal one or the current mirrors is active while the other current mirror is in an off state. This way adding a biasing current to the input signal is avoided which substantially reduces noise.

    摘要: The invention is an amplifier configuration which provides signal gain at very low levels of distortion. The inventive amplifier configuration consists of two amplifiers whose outputs are added to give the total amplified signal. A first amplifier functions in the usual way, amplifying a signal from a voltage source and having a controllable feedback gain. A second amplifier is also fed by the voltage source but applies a feedback gain to the total amplified signal rather than to its own output signal. By selecting the feedback gains to be substantially identical, portions of voltage waveforms that have been removed or altered due to clipping or other forms of distortion are restored by the second amplifier. The invention is particularly useful when amplifier gain is low, e.g., at high frequencies. Suitable implementations are in the voltage domain, using operational amplifiers, or in the current domain, using, for example, voltage-controlled current sources.

    摘要: In a direct coupled type vacuum tube amplifying circuit, to stabilize the operation and simplify the feedback loop, a plate power source EB5 is connected to a plate of a vacuum tube V5 of a first stage through a constant current source 1. A grid of a vacuum tube V6 of a next stage is connected to the plate of the vacuum tube V5 through a first resistance R3. A second resistance R4 is connected between the grid and the cathode of the vacuum tube V6. A negative power source EC6 is connected to the resistance R4 through a constant current source 2. In this constitution, the grid bias voltage of the second vacuum tube V6 is defined by the voltage drop of the second resistance R4.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, in a semiconductor integrated circuit, a first input terminal of an error amplifier is electrically connected to a third node between a second node and a reference potential. A second input terminal of the error amplifier is electrically connected to a reference voltage. An output terminal of the error amplifier is electrically connected to a gate of an output transistor.     摘要: This patent teaches the creation and use of current amplifiers. The use of current inputs allows one to use techniques normally associated with Current Feed Amplifiers. The patent uses a family of topologies that include two inputs that are responsive to currents. These two inputs are substantially equal in properties. This is an improvement over existing Current Feedback Amplifier designs where there is actually one voltage input and one current input which draws a lot of current as it is really the output of a buffer. This patent uses amplifier topologies that give us amplifiers with lower distortion, improved frequency response, increased DC stability, and increased stability of internal biasing than prior art. This is accomplished with a simplification of circuit complexity, reduced reliance upon Vbe matching of transistors, and takes away the need to use the long-tailed pair for amplification. The patent teaches embodiments that go beyond that of Current Feedback Amplifiers as currently implemented. This patent teaches how to amplify a signal (or the difference of two signals) by the use of dual amplified (buffered) current subtractions at a high impedance point. Some of the topologies can be used at very low supply voltages without the usual loss of performance.
