摘要: According to an example embodiment, a device includes a resonant circuit configured and arranged to provide a peak current flow at a resonance frequency. A trimming circuit provides variable impedances to the resonant circuit and thereby changes the resonance frequency for the resonant circuit. A driver circuit is configured to generate a trimming signal that oscillates at a desired frequency. A switch circuit couples and decouples the driver circuit to the resonant circuit for driving the resonant circuit with the trimming signal. An amplitude detection circuit detects amplitudes for signals generated in response to the trimming signal being connected to the resonant circuit. A processing circuit correlates detected amplitudes from the amplitude detection circuit with different impedance values of the variable trimming circuit.

摘要: A fluid sensor comprises a sensor housing (12), a sensor package (14), an actuator (16) and a switch (18). The sensor package (14) is disposed within the sensor housing (12) and includes first and second screens and at least one sensing membrane. The sensing membrane is disposed between the first and second screens (36) and is adapted to expand when exposed to a predetermined quantity of a first predetermined fluid. The actuator (16) is disposed proximate the sensor package (14) within the sensor housing (12) and moveable between a first position and a second position through an intermediate position. The switch (18) is disposed proximate the actuator (16) and is operable between closed and open positions. When the actuator (16) is in the second position at least a portion of the actuator (16) depresses the switch (18) to control an-electrical, circuit connected therewith.

摘要: A tunable multiple frequency source system employing offset signal phasing includes a first frequency source, a phase delay element, and a second frequency source configured to operate concurrently with the first frequency source. The first frequency source includes an input coupled to receive a reference input signal and an output for providing a first frequency source signal. The phase delay includes an input coupled to receive the input reference signal, and an output, the phase delay element operable to apply a predefined phase delay to the input reference signal to produce a phase-delayed input signal. The second frequency source includes an input coupled to receive the phase-delayed input signal and an output for providing a second frequency source signal.

摘要: A multiple frequency source system includes at least one frequency source tunable to a predefined target frequency, and at least one additional frequency source operable to generate a second signal at a frequency which is either higher or lower than the target frequency. A method for tuning the tunable frequency source to the target frequency during concurrent generation of the second signal includes (i) controlling the tunable frequency source to tune to at least one frequency point frequency lower than the target frequency, and thereafter controlling the oscillator to tune to the target frequency, when the second signal is higher in frequency than the target frequency, or (ii) controlling the tunable frequency source to tune to at least one frequency point higher than the target frequency, and thereafter controlling the tunable frequency source to tune to the target frequency, when the second signal is lower in frequency than the target frequency.

摘要: A receiver such that the period required for tracking adjustment, temperature compensation is not needed, and tracking errors due to fluctuation of the power supply voltage are prevented from increasing, and a tracking adjusting method for the receiver. A DAC 4 generates a voltage according to the value of data (Do) inputted from an MPU 81 by using a control voltage outputted from a low-pass filter 35 in a local oscillator 3 as a reference voltage used during digital-analog conversion. A multiplier circuit 5 analog-multiplies the output voltage of the DAC 4 by a predetermined multiplier. The output voltage of the multiplier circuit 5 is applied as a tuning voltage to a high-frequency tuning circuit 20. In an EEPROM 84 stored is the value of the input data (Do) of the DAC 4 which has been measured in advance and corresponds to the tuned voltage of when the tracking error is the minimum at the central value of the local oscillation frequency, and the MPU 81 reads the data (Do) from the EEPROM 84 and inputs it to the DAC 4.

摘要: A radio frequency (RF) amplifier including a resonant circuit having a peaked response is tunable in response to a tuning voltage to select RF carriers over a wide range of frequencies and includes an additional resonant circuit for improving its response at the low frequency end of that range. The additional resonant circuit has a peaked response tunable in response to the tuning voltage in tracking relationship to that of the first resonant circuit. The tracking relationship is desirably selected so that the additional resonant circuit does not become tuned to a frequency which is an integral sub-multiple of the frequency of a selected RF carrier.
