    摘要: A transmission start time correction method of a WDM/TDM-PON system includes: a completion instruction procedure in which a station-side subscriber accommodation apparatus issues an instruction using a downstream signal for instructing a subscriber apparatus to perform wavelength switching, the downstream signal including a transmission start time of an upstream signal indicating completion of the wavelength switching of the subscriber apparatus, the upstream signal being transmitted by the subscriber apparatus after the wavelength switching; an instruction completion transmission procedure in which the subscriber apparatus transmits the upstream signal indicating the completion of the wavelength switching at a wavelength after switching at the instructed transmission start time after the wavelength switching is completed in accordance with the instruction; and a transmission start time correction procedure in which the station-side subscriber accommodation apparatus measures a reception time of the upstream signal indicating the completion of the wavelength switching received after the wavelength switching and sets a time obtained by adding a time twice a time difference between a reception time of the upstream signal indicating the completion of the wavelength switching assumed before the wavelength switching and a reception time of the upstream signal indicating the completion of the wavelength switching received after the wavelength switching to the transmission start time of the upstream signal before the wavelength switching as a new transmission start time.

A respective Path Computation Element (PCE) function is instantiated and associated with each regeneration site in the network. Each PCE function maintains a reach table containing information of viable optical paths extending from transceivers of its regeneration site. The PCE function implements a Recursive Path Computation algorithm to compute end-to-end routes through a physical layer of the network.

    摘要: A method of configuring an optical network terminal, ONT, of a wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network, WDM PON. Sequentially setting a transmission wavelength of a tunable optical filter at the ONT to one or more wavelengths of a pre-selected plurality of transmission wavelengths until a wavelength is identified for which no downstream optical signal from an optical line terminal of the WDM PON is detected. Determining whether a transmitter operable at said identified transmission wavelength is present at the OLT and is available to be assigned to communicate with the ONT. If a transmitter is determined to be present and available, maintaining the transmission wavelength of the tunable optical filter at transmission wavelength and assigning the ONT to the OLT as a subscriber at said identified transmission wavelength. If a transmitter is determined to be one of not present and not available, recommencing the method.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a path selecting method and apparatus. The method includes: computing an end-to-end path for a newly added service according to network topology and a wavelength constraint, and assigning a wavelength to the path; computing performance of each existing service and performance of the newly added service in a network according to physical impairment information collected in the network, where the physical impairment information includes a gain reference spectrum of each optical amplifier in the network; and performing impairment check on performance of each service, and performing path selection for the newly added service according to a result of the impairment check. The apparatus includes a path computation module, a performance computation module and an impairment check module. According to the embodiments, efficiency of network update or rerouting is improved.
