摘要: Various aspects and embodiments may provide seamless and resource efficient roaming for group call services on broadcast/multicast networks. In particular, upon a user equipment (UE) roaming or detecting an imminent move from a current Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) to a Visited PLMN (VPLMN), an application server in a Home PLMN associated with the UE may determine whether to establish a multicast bearer in the VPLMN if the UE has pre-registered for group call services in the VPLMN and provide the UE with information about bearers that will support the group call services in the VPLMN. For example, the multicast bearer may be established in the VPLMN if a number of users actively participating in the VPLMN exceeds a threshold, or the group call services may alternatively be supported over unicast service only if the number of actively participating users in the VPLMN is below the threshold.

摘要: High speed serial links are used in many applications as they provide high throughput with limited number of signals and input/output pins. Normally, the high speed links are established once at power up and rarely taken down except for maintenance purposes. When the high speed serial links are used for battery operated devices, the power consumption of these links becomes an important issue. Dynamic high speed serial link establishment and shutdown techniques are used in such application to keep the power consumption low. Frequent link establishment and shutdown may cause occasional link establishment failures leading to latencies and even complete failure to communicate between two entities. A method and apparatus are disclosed that enable robust link establishment for more reliable operation and reduced latency.

摘要: A multiple dwelling house interphone system includes a collective entrance machine, a dwelling room master device, and a management master device. The collective entrance machine is for calling a visit destination by a visitor. The dwelling room master device is for responding to the call by a dweller. The management master device is for speaking with the dweller by a manager. The management master device includes a speech permissibility storage section and a speech control section. The speech permissibility storage section registers a permissibility of calling and speaking to the dwelling room master device for each dwelling unit. The speech control section controls the calling and speaking. The speech control section does not perform the calling control when a calling operation by the management master device is performed towards the dwelling room master device of a dwelling unit registered as “unpermitted” in the speech permissibility storage section.

摘要: In a video decoding method, the video data to be decoded is arranged in a first unit, which first unit includes a plurality of second data units, and each of which second data unit includes an information on a status of the second data unit. First, it is determined whether the status information in a current second unit is invalid or not. If it is determined that the status information in the second unit is invalid, the status information is changed into another one among a set of possible status information to decode the video data from the current second unit to a last second unit in a current first unit on the basis of the changed status information. Afterwards, if the decoding of video data from the current second unit to the last second unit in the current first unit was successful for none of the possible status information, a flag representing an encoding scheme of the video data is changed such that the flag indicates that the second unit is encoded in an inter-frame mode. Then, the video data from the current second unit to the last second unit in the current first unit is decoded according to the changed flag. Finally, the video data from the current second unit to the last second unit in the current first unit is replaced with those in a previous frame if the decoding of the video data in the step (d) was unsuccessful.

摘要: In a method in a computer system for recoding a coded intermediate variable into a recoded result variable a product is formed by multiplying an input constant by an input variable to be coded. The coded intermediate variable is formed as a function of the product and a multiplicative inverse is determined on the basis of the input constant. The multiplicative inverse is applied to the coded intermediate variable, so that no uncoded or partially uncoded interim result is produced and/or an error information potentially contained in the coded intermediate variable is still detectable in the interim result.
