Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a recharging method for a virtual identity module, and a device. A first recharge request that is sent by user equipment and carries user account information and recharge information is received; a to-be-recharged virtual identity module and a recharge amount are determined according to the recharge information; a second recharge request is sent to an operations support system of the to-be-recharged virtual identity module, where the second recharge request carries the recharge amount and the user account information, so that the operations support system of the to-be-recharged virtual identity module deducts the recharge amount from an account corresponding to the user account information, and recharges the to-be-recharged virtual identity module. Recharging manners are diversified, and a recharging process is more flexible and convenient.
Abstract:
A technique involves modular storage of network service plan components and provisioning of same. A subset of the capabilities of a service design system can be granted to a sandbox system to enable customization of service plan offerings or other controls.
Abstract:
A method of providing services in a communication system. The method comprises: establishing a call instance from a caller terminal to a service provider terminal in the communication system; transmitting from the service provider terminal a service proposal in the form of an electronic document via the established call instance to the caller terminal; selectively accepting or rejecting the service proposal at the caller terminal; and in the case of acceptance of the service proposal, transmitting a request for money to a backend server in the communication system from the caller terminal; transmitting electronic cash tokens from the backend server to the caller terminal in response to the request to receive money; forwarding the electronic cash tokens from the caller terminal to the service provider terminal, whereafter the service provider provides services in accordance with the service proposal.
Abstract:
Methods, servers and systems for directly accessing and modifying charging information maintained within a telecommunications operator's business and operating systems' infrastructure from user equipment. A mobile application server may receive a charging request from a user equipment, identify a relevant charging system based on the received request, send a charging request to the identified charging system for processing, receive a first response message including charging information from the identified charging system, generate a second response message based on the charging information included in the first response message, and send the generated second response message to the user equipment. The received charging request may include various types of information, including information for transferring cost or billing information from a first billing category to a second billing category.
Abstract:
Structures and protocols are presented for signaling a status or decision concerning a wireless service or device within a region to a communication device (smartphone or wearable device, e.g.) or other wireless communication participant (motor vehicle having a wireless communication capability, e.g.).
Abstract:
Methods for provisioning wireline or wireless services and goods to at least one prepaid or postpaid customer in a communications network are provided. In one such method, a request is received for at least one service or good from a prepaid customer and it is determined based upon the request if sufficient funds are available to pay for the requested service and, if not, a warning message is sent to the customer. If funds are available a payment for the requested service or good is deducted form the customer's account, the account balance is updated, and an authorization is sent to the service node for that facilitates the requested service or good. Upon receipt of the authorization, the service node is permitted to access the requested service or good in accordance with a parameter. Other similar methods are provided for postpaid customers.

Abstract:
A wireless communications system providing interactive voice response is disclosed. The system is menu-driven, and can accept information and requests from customers. In response to one type of request, the system can provide the customer with information regarding one or more previous transactions. The system also includes provisions that permit customers to retrieve multiple previous transactions.
Abstract:
Methods and pre-paid platforms are provided to allow a user of a communication device that has a pre-paid account to submit an electronic request for a refresh of the account. The request is presented within a message sent to an address of an entity in control of the account. The entity in control of the account can then select within the message to accept or deny the request for the refresh. The pre-paid platform responds to the selection by either denying the request or by refreshing the account. The pre-paid platform may charge a monetary account for the amount of the refresh that is applied. The request may be for a custom or pre-defined amount. The response by the entity in control may accept a proposed amount or may specify a different amount for the refresh.
