    摘要: A method for coding a block of picture data is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: determining a prediction coefficient of a DC coefficient of a block from a DC coefficient of at least one previously reconstructed reference block, determining, for each pixel of the block, a prediction value such that the average of prediction values is proportional to the prediction coefficient to a proportionality coefficient close, calculating, for each pixel of the block, a residual value by subtracting from the picture data of the pixel the prediction value of the pixel, transforming the block of residual values by a first transform into a first block of coefficients, replacing, in the first block of coefficients, the DC coefficient by the difference between the product of the proportionality coefficient and the average of picture data of the block and the prediction coefficient, and quantizing and coding the first block of coefficients.

    摘要: The present invention provides a digital data reproducing device having a simple configuration and being capable of protecting copyright of digital data such as video or audio. Content provider side embeds copyright management information (cumulative number of reproduction times, permissible number of reproduction times, etc.) into digital data that has been degraded by scrambling, and provides it to a content user. A sports information service server accessible via a network N from the recording device includes a winning/losing outcome database recorded with information specifying a genre to which a game belongs and an outcome of wining or losing in each game with respect to the respective games held domestically and overseas. A CPU of the recording device, when reaching the detection time defined in the in-advance setting data, specifies the defined genre and the detection team/player, then receives the winning/losing data from the sports information service server, and determines whether the detection team/player defined in the in-advance setting data lost in the game or not. Then, when determining that the detection team/player lost in the game, a scheme is to prevent the already recorded data of the broadcast program of the game from remaining on the hard disk.
