Abstract: Systems and methods related to resource acquisition on a resource market are disclosed. A system may include a machine having a resource requirement for a task. A system controller may include a resource requirement circuit to determine an amount of a resource for the machine to service the task requirement, a resource market circuit to access a resource market, and a market testing circuit to execute a first transaction of the resource on the resource market. The controller may further include an arbitrage execution circuit to execute a second transaction of the resource on the resource market in response to an outcome of the first transaction, wherein the second transaction comprises a larger transaction than the first transaction.

Abstract: A method includes transmitting a first encrypted data contract and an encrypted token to a data consumer computer, which decrypts the first encrypted data contract with a private key to obtain a data contract, encrypts the data contract with a public key to create a second encrypted data contract, and transmits it and the encrypted token to the data producer computer. The data producer computer decrypts the second encrypted data contract and with the private key, decrypts the encrypted token with the private key, encrypts the token and the data contract with the public key of the data exchange computer to form a third encrypted data contract, and transmits them to the data exchange computer. The data exchange computer decrypts the third encrypted data contract and the encrypted token. It verifies the token and facilitates an action of the data contract.

Abstract: A system for generating and applying a secure token in a resource distribution network is provided. For example, a headend system generates a time-based token based on a time duration specified for a meter. The time-based token indicates the time duration for the meter. The time-based token is further generated based on an identifier of the meter. The headend system transmits the time-based token to the meter via at least a mesh network. After receiving the time-based token, the meter validates the time-based token to determine that the time-based token is generated for the meter based on information related to the identifier of the meter. If the meter determines that the time-based token is valid, the meter connects premises associated with the meter to a resource distribution network for at least the time duration specified in the time-based token.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically soliciting the purchase of a first or second machine-related resource in a forward market, wherein the first resource and the second resource are distinct instances of the same type of resource, are described. A sample system may include a fleet of machines, each having a resource requirement comprising at least two of: a compute resource, a spectrum resource, or a network bandwidth resource. The system may include an circuits to aggregate data corresponding to the machine-related resources from at least a behavioral data source, to determine a substitution cost of a second resource; to determine a machine-related resource acquisition value; and to automatically solicit a purchase, in a forward market, of one of the first resource or the second resource in response to the determined substitution cost of the second resource.
