    摘要: A direct acting pressure reducing valve includes a valve-inlet pressure introduction port; a valve-outlet pressure output port; a main valve for opening and closing a communicating conduit; a pilot pressure chamber formed with a flexible diaphragm member; a communicating hole; a connecting rod inserted in the communicating hole; and a biasing member for biasing the flexible diaphragm member in a direction to open the main valve. An insertion portion of the connecting rod has a partly-deformed circular cross section, a distance from a deformed portion thereof to a center of an imaginary circle corresponding to the communicating hole being shorter than a radius of the imaginary circle. A non-deformed portion of the partly-deformed circular cross section guides the connecting rod along the communicating hole, while the deformed portion serves as an air passage via which the communicating conduit and the pilot pressure chamber are communicatively connected.

    摘要: A pilot valve designed to regulate a main liquid flow valve disposed in a fluid system is disclosed having a diaphragm and sliding poppet assembly which is biased in one direction by a reference force and movable in the opposite direction in response to variances in regulated pressure sensed upon the diaphragm. The pilot valve includes integrally formed self-cleaning restrictors which dampen the operation of the valve to eliminate chatter as the pilot valve throttles to maintain the desired liquid flow level in the fluid system. Stability during operation is provided by a positive feedback force being applied to the pilot poppet which is of the same magnitude as the pressure which positions the valve member of the main flow valve. This positive feedback force significantly reduces phase lag between the pilot and the main flow valve, thereby increasing valve response to load changes. The pilot valve may also be utilized in both pressure reducing and back pressure monitoring applications by the mere substitution of three internal parts, namely the valve seat insert, guide and a plunger or poppet.

    摘要: Pressure regulator with partial volumes for regulating the operating pressure of fluids, in particular adhesives, at the inlet of a consuming device, the first partial volume (14) being connectable to a fluid source and the second partial volume (24) being connectable to the fluid inlet of the consuming device, wherein the second partial volume (24) has a cylindrical section(24a) of variable size, a connecting channel (22) connecting the first (14) and the second (24) partial volumes, a valve disposed in the first partial volume for opening and closing the connecting channel, said valve having an insert (23) and a movable sealing piston (32), the front end of which forms a sealing body (34) for closing the connecting channel and the rear end of which is sealed against the first partial volume. A working piston (54) is disposed in the cylindrical section (24a) for changing the volume thereof, with a front end (59) facing the cylindrical section and the sealing piston, and with a piston rod (56) for moving the sealing piston, said piston rod (56) engaging the front end (59) of the sealing piston and forming an endstop for same. The rear end of the sealing piston and the front end of the working piston are exposed to the pressure of the fluid in the second partial volume (24) while a movable adjuster piston (92) is provided to which compressed air can be applied and which is coupled to the endstop that determines the extent to which the valve opens between its closed and its open positions.
