    摘要: A coupler device for fluid transport that includes a body with an outer sidewall. The body defines a slot disposed proximate one end, and extends in a direction transverse to and through the outer sidewall. A latch assembly is connected with the body. The latch assembly includes at least one outer member being disposed on the outer surface of the body, and is externally exposed of the body. The inner member is connected with an inner member being disposed through the slot. A soft overmold portion is formed over the outer sidewall of the body. The overmold portion includes a shroud portion that extends outward from the outer sidewall, and partially covers the outer member of the latch assembly.

    摘要: A method for adjusting piezoelectric valve components to create a precise interface between a piezoelectric actuator and a movable valve plunger is provided which includes the steps of conducting a coarse adjustment prior to assembly followed by a fine adjustment after assembly. The method includes measuring a first difference between a valve body and a valve plunger, and compensating for this first measured difference such that surfaces of the valve body and the valve plunger are in a common plane. A second common plane is established between an end surface of an actuator housing and an end of an actuator rod. The step of compensating for the first measured difference can comprise machining the surfaces in the first common plane or using a shim. A second adjustment is conducted by rotating a nut disposed axially with the actuator rod to adjust the axial position of the valve plunger.

The valve housing (1) is assembled by welding out of two or more parts around a closing member (4) shaped as a part of the face of a globe and provided with a flow opening (3), and the shaft (5) of rotation of the closing member is attached to the closing member. Before the shaft (5) of rotation of the closing member is installed in its place, the closing member (4) is turned in the housing (1) so that the point (8) of fastening of the shaft of rotation becomes positioned facing the first flow duct (6) of the housing, and the shaft of rotation is inserted into the closing member through this flow duct (6) and attached to the closing member (b 4). The end of the closing member (4) placed facing away from the shaft (5) of rotation is pressed against the sealing face (7') of the second flow duct (6') of the housing, and this sealing face (7') is ground by means of the end of the closing member, or the end placed at the side of the shaft of rotation is pulled against the other sealing face, and this sealing face is ground by means of the end placed at the side of the shaft of rotation.

A packing gland engages the packing, and at least one of the packing gland and packing has a non-planar surface that urges the stretched opening dimension of the third opening of the packing toward the original unstretched dimension after the valve member is assembled in the packing.
