    摘要: A method for simultaneously drilling at least two peripheral peg holes in a bony surface, the method comprising providing a peripheral peg drill component including a housing with a first side, a second side opposite the first side and at least two drill bits extending from the second side of the housing; releasably coupling the first side of the peripheral peg drill component to a drilling device; advancing the peripheral peg drill component over an alignment pin extending from a bony surface until each of the at least two drill bits engage the bony surface; actuating a driving mechanism of the peripheral peg drill component with the drilling device to cause the at least two drill bits to rotate; and simultaneously penetrating the bony surface with the at least two drill bits as they rotate.

    摘要: A drilling apparatus designed used to drill multiple holes in the bottom surface of an overhead surface. The drilling apparatus includes a lower frame member and an upper frame member longitudinally aligned thereover. The lower frame member includes two vertical uprights perpendicularly aligned and attached to a lower base mounted on caster wheels. A cable attached to a winch selectively lowers and raises the upper frame member over the lower frame member. Attached to the upper end of the upper frame member is a perpendicularly aligned horizontal support member. Mounted on the support member are two or more drill brackets that hold inverted drill motors each with a drill bit at a fixed location and at a fixed angle. At least one drill bracket includes a horizontal alignment flange surface that is used as an alignment surface for a laser placed on the support surface and aimed upward to the precise hole location on the overhead surface.

    摘要: A fastener structure for fastening a first member and a second member using a taper implant having a threaded hole therein. The taper implant has a frusto-conical outer surface, a projecting portion connected to a larger diameter end and a threaded hole passing therethrough. The first member has a wall portion with a tapered hole extending therethrough and a counterbored portion adjacent a larger diameter end to receive the projection portion of the taper implant. The taper implant is inserted into the hole of the first member and held therein by frictional contact. The second member has a wall portion with a hole therethrough. The second member is positioned in contact with the first member and the two members are fastened together by inserting a male screw through the hole of the second member and threading the male screw into engagement with the threaded hole of the taper implant.

    摘要: A taper implant of the invention comprises a taper portion having an outer surface being frustconical in shape, a flange portion formed at an outermost end of the taper portion on the larger-diameter side to project outward with respect to the taper portion and having a flat surface lying perpendicularly to the axial direction of the taper portion, and female threads serving as a fit portion extending in the axial direction of said taper portion. A hole taper portion and a hole step portion are drilled at the same time to bore a hole in one of members to be fastened, and the taper implant is driven into the hole, thereby providing a screw-fastening structure for the fastened members. The taper implant ensuring good working efficiency is achieved.
