摘要: A film stretching apparatus includes: a pair of first and second link devices configured to be able to carry and stretch a film and each composed of a plurality of links coupled to form an endless chain; a heat treatment unit configured to cover a central portion of the first and second link devices and perform a heat treatment to the film; a sprocket (first link drive mechanism) arranged outside the heat treatment unit and on an inlet side of the film and configured to drive the plurality of links; a sprocket (second link drive mechanism) arranged outside the heat treatment unit and on an outlet side of the film and configured to drive the plurality of links; and a sprocket (link adjustment mechanism) arranged outside the heat treatment unit and on the outlet side of the film and configured to reduce a pitch of the plurality of links.

摘要: A tenter-clip carriage for a stretching system comprises a longitudinal direction (LR) and a transverse direction and a clip body having a clamping device. The tenter-clip carriage comprises fastening portions in order to fasten the tenter-clip carriage to a partial chain portion of a conveyor chain arrangement of the stretching system. The tenter-clip carriage comprises at least one stabilising roller or at least one stabilising sliding element. The at least one stabilising roller or the at least one stabilising sliding element is, by means of a guide device:
a) held directly on the tenter-clip carriage; or
b) held indirectly on the tenter-clip carriage via a pin that connects two chain segments of the partial chain portion of the conveyor chain arrangement to one another
and, specifically, unaffected by the feed and drive forces acting on the tenter-clip carriage or the partial chain portion to move the tenter-clip carriage and/or the partial chain portion.
The at least one stabilising roller or the at least one stabilising sliding element can be adjusted perpendicularly or transversely to the longitudinal direction by a force accumulator or spring-force accumulator.-

摘要: An absorbent article containing a polyolefin film is provided. The polyolefin film is formed by a thermoplastic composition containing a continuous phase that includes a polyolefin matrix polymer and nanoinclusion additive is provided. The nanoinclusion additive is dispersed within the continuous phase as discrete nano-scale phase domains. When drawn, the nano-scale phase domains are able to interact with the matrix in a unique manner to create a network of nanopores.

摘要: Wrinkling of supported thin films is a strain-driven phenomenon that enables scalable and low-cost fabrication of periodic micro and nano scale structures. The morphology of wrinkles depends on both the magnitude and the nature of compressive strains that are applied to the thin film. This disclosure presents the methods to fabricate asymmetric 2-D wrinkled structures using biaxial compressive strains. The method relies on the dependence of wrinkle morphology on both strains and strain paths to generate asymmetric 2D wrinkles. Asymmetry is achieved by deliberately traversing the system through a strain state that creates cracks along a preferential direction. Fabricated patterns include non-uniform zigzag wrinkles that demonstrate period doubling only along one direction.

摘要: Wrinkling of thin films is a strain-driven process that enables scalable and low-cost fabrication of periodic micro and nano scale patterns. However, real-world application is limited by the inability of current tools to provide the means for applying large, accurate, and non-equal biaxial strains via a device that can fit within the vacuum chambers that are required for thin film deposition/growth during wrinkling. The present biaxial tensile stage is a compact system that enables one to apply large and accurate non-equal biaxial strains to elastomeric films. It consists of (i) fixtures to clamp and hold films onto the stage, (ii) linear bearings for motion guidance, (iii) integrated actuators for real-time stretch control, (iv) base with kinematic coupling for registration to a metrology system, and (v) the structural frame.
