    摘要: An air conditioner for automotive vehicles is disclosed. The flow rates of air supplied to an evaporator (4) and a heater (5) are adjusted by rotationally displacing a scroll casing (2b) and thus changing an air flow from a blower (2) to a predetermined direction. The air-mix door can thus be eliminated to allow a smaller size of an air-conditioner casing (3) (air-conditioning unit (1)). Also, the ratio between cool air flow rate and hot air flow rate is adjusted by rotationally displacing the scroll casing (2b) with a spur gear (2c) and, therefore, the size and the production cost of the air conditioner can be reduced as compared with a conventional system in which an air-mix door is swung by a link mechanism.

    摘要: The invention recites a multi-zone temperature control system operable to control the temperature within a plurality of compartments. The system includes a scroll compressor operable at a speed to compress a flow of fluid and a condenser, operable to cool the flow of fluid. The system also includes a plurality of heat exchangers. Each heat exchanger is associated with one of the plurality of compartments and is operable to maintain the temperature of the compartment within a desired range. A plurality of valves are operable to direct and vary the amount of the flow of fluid from the compressor to the condenser and the plurality of heat exchangers. The valves are configurable to allow each of the heat exchangers to heat or cool their associated compartment. The system also includes a controller operable to control the valves to maintain the temperature of each compartment within its desired range.

    摘要: A system with an internal combustion engine which has a heat transfer circuit, a fuel cell and a climate control unit which is accommodated in the heat transfer circuit of the internal combustion engine. The system has a heat transfer arrangement for transferring the exhaust heat of the fuel cell to the heat transfer circuit and a bypass for bridging a segment of the heat transfer circuit which runs through the internal combustion engine so that, in the bypassed operating state, an isolated circuit is formed. In stationary operation, this enables an optimized operating mode since the internal combustion engine is no longer heated and the exhaust heat of the fuel cell is fully available for heating purposes. The climate control unit can have a fuel cell and an arrangement for transferring the heat produced by the fuel cell to the vehicle interior has a fan unit by which an air flow can be produced for cooling the fuel cell and a heating unit which is powered by the fuel cell and by which the air flow for heating the vehicle interior can be additionally heated. For cooling or heating the interior of a motor vehicle, the system can have a cooling circuit with a compressor, a condenser, an expansion element, and a first evaporator and an APU or a fuel cell to electrically power the compressor, and a second cooling circuit a second evaporator, the second cooling circuit being connected to the first cooling circuit.

The top end portion (10) of said partition means (8) defines a surface (30) of a streamlined or curved configuration along which said cold air, the warm air or the mixture of cold and warm airs can flow.
